Some dwonsides of Mehron's website is that they do not show the weight of the products so unless the customer is very familiar with the size of their pans, it's a bit of a lucky dip.

I got this foundation and it's great but NOT transfer free. better when it's set with a setting powder but I'd say the fact that it does transfer quite a bit is it's only downside really. Although strangely it doesn't seem to lose coverage as a result? Might be better if you used it with a damp sponge though....but i've not yet tried that :P and yes it's long lasting :)

Hmmm, ok last and final purchase, I just took a chance at Medium 1 and it was perfect! I usually use this with Smashbox primer and it lasts all day. With my oily skin, I still have to dab every couple hrs. or so, but make-up def. stays on. This foundation is way beyond awesome! :):):)

Hello Wayne, thanks for this video. My partner and I just purchased this product. Something I wanted to fill you in on is the ease of mixing these shades. We had difficulty finding a shade that worked alone and, with a wonderful and patient make up tech's assistance, we found the perfect blend for my partners tone. It looks fantastic for other performers we work with and I would have to say I love this product. It allows for easy blending for the contouring needed for the stage.
I bought this @ the NYC Makeup Show in the Spring in Medium Light 2 & it's a great foundation. Sorry I didn't have the wisdom to pick up the Med. Light 1 for Winter use, but I will be purchasing that one also. Glad to know that it's very similar to Graftobian HD so I don't have knock myself out trying to get color samples from that line.

Hey Wayne - Thanks for this. I am happy to know about something you endorse at such a good price -even though I live close to the home of Graftobian - must ask them how they pronounce their name. Anyway I need advice - you say use no water on the skin under oil based foundation. My skin looks dreadful without moisturizer and oils don't seem to cut it. Cerave (Walgreen's) is a great inexpensive product I've been using for cleanser and moisturizing - but it's water based. Any suggestions?
Have you tried Cover FX foundations yet? i know you have high standards and you give honest reviews so i would really love to know if you tried it and what you think, before i spend so much.
It's not slightly nit-picking. As a person with a dark complexion I know how hard it is to find foundation that matches. Many lines only have a few dark shades and do not take into account that darker people have varying undertones as well.
Thank you for sharing. It's great to find a more economical option to the "high end" foundations out there. A question: Which shade would suit a C4, NC 35 or NC 40 skintone? I have alot of yellow tones. Thank you in advance!

there are LOTS of people out there with skin darker than that foundation. It's so annoying when you have dark skin and you try to get Brand name make-up sometimes...

Mehron Dark 1 is the shade equivalent for MAC NC50. It's yellow-based, very similar to Bobbi Brown's Warm Almond. Love it.

I checked out the Mehron website after watching this video. Wayne- do you know what shade would be most simular to a MAC NC25? even tho I am more "neutral" the NC's work best(NW is way too pink and obvious on my skin) Please let me know what shade you'd recc!

there are LOTS of people out there with skin darker than that foundation. It's so annoying when you have dark skin and you try to get Brand name make-up sometimes...

I'm having trouble finding pale foundations, the one that's nearest my skintone is coastal scent HD foundation in st-01.
I think I'm neutral, deff. not very pinkbased even though I'm pale.
