Well I personally like the Aliens bette rmoviewise. I mean Predator's awesome, but I just think the story for the Alien franchise was better. Personally I wish the movie took place after Ressurection. The company capture Weaver and Ryder and locate the Aliens original planet thinking the previous failure was only an accident. Also the Predator's are going their to hunt. The humans try to fight for control of the eggs and possibly to take the Predator's weapons. Then the eggs start to hatch...

When Bishop Weyland in AVP, used the flame thrower burn the Predator, it was not even infected. They are also weren't irritated by liquid nitrogen, as in Alien 4, aliens are easily irritated by liquid nitrogen. The Predator (adults) could only be defeated by its own weaponry. So, aliens seem to be the weaker specie. But it could defeat its opponents through numbers, Predators only works alone.

Actually, Xenomorphs are physically superior. Also, considering that they can survive the vacum of space, along with boiling temperatures of molten lead...I doubt liquid nitrogen is really going to hurt them. The pred was just as affected by the nitrogen as the alien...nothing more than a itch

well, yea...try and compare xenomorphs and predators together how they are affected by human's weaponry. a xenomorph was easily killed in avp2 when a man who was in the helicopter used a pistol and easily finished off the xenomorph. but in predator 2, the police officer used a shot gun and shot the predator several times. it was just knocked out. hence, xenomorphs are weaker compared to predator in combat but the ability to survive in extreme temperature, aliens are possibly superior

The AVP, AVPR movies cannot be used in a argument lol. As they go against the original movies and are no better than the avp comics where you will see things like a 50 ft tall alien. In ALIENS Gorman's pistol rounds clearly bounced off the aliens armor. Granted that pred armor is more likely stronger than the xenomorph's exoskeleton, preds also wear much less armor. Xenos are almost completely covered with their exo.

even though i am an alien fan, after watching the movies, i think if a Predator fights an Alien, one on one, the Predator will win for sure! because in all alien movies, they could be killed by guns, flame throwers and shotguns. The Predator is immune to guns, flame throwers and shot guns. The Predator just needs a bit healing in Predator 1 when he was shot. The Predator was only knocked out when he was shot by shotgun at Predator 2.
