kimi is a good driver.. but as an ambassador for F1 and team lotus is a sad day. Please enjoy this video cause you'll never see kimi talk this much again during 2012 season.
@FreddoX1 Better this than Williams..and it was clear from the beginning that no places were left in top-4 teams. It's better for Kimi to come back now to drive Lotus, than wait for another year....if he gets great results, maybe he can get to Mercedes or RedBull if Webber or Schumi retire after 2012....or better yet, it would be great if Lotus would suprise everyone and be lot better than anyone expected ;) Either way the most important thing is that Kimi is back!
@n33dw33d3333 After they threw him out, to get Alonso and Santander's money?....Not a chance that he would go back, even if Ferrari wanted him back.
Kimi's relationship with Ferrari worked in 2007 when Jean Todt was still leading the team, cause he understood Kimi lot better than Dominicali ever did. Besides Kimi got what he wanted with Ferrari, the championship....there is no need for him to go back there, I bet he would much rather get to the top with Lotus.
I'm soooo glad he is backkkkkk . The iceman. Now my two favorite driver are racing again . Lewis n Kimi. So if one of them crash out I can hopefully depend on another :D. I had to rate this 5 stars because he smiled at the end a little and u don't get that from him too OFTEN. lol
I think Kimi is able to develop the Lotus to a better car. He gives great feedback to the team. Just like Michael Schumacher did with the Ferrari. Kimi has a feel to the car he drives when he knows what's going on ( not in rallying or nascar because that is not his cup of tea, open single seaters, like Formula 1 is ). Think the second half of the season you will see a better performance of the Lotus. So glad the Iceman comes back.
Did you see when he was talking about his passion, he smiled.
Im real glad that Kimi 'Iceman' Räikkönen came back he is one of the driver that could have made a difference about vettel getting worldchampion or not. Vettel is going to have a hard time next season
sometimes is the "worst" of these drivers mentioned, excpet for Schumi, but sometimes, especially in wet conditions, he can be absolutely brillaint....that Canada race this year was just absolutely brilliant by him, from last place to 1st.
Ham has had such bad season that I cant put him higher than that right now, if he learns just bit more patience in overtaking and doesnt let his personal life effect his driving, he could be just as great as in 2007-08.
He is a terrible choice for Renault they are just going with a controversial choice in kimi, he has no emotion and no joy for the motorsport all I think of when I think of kimi is back in monoco I think it was after him crashing or retiring early he didn't give a fuck all he was worried about was getting an ice cream and going back to his trailer unlike more recently vetel saying with the pit crew to discus What went wrong and to give feedback to try and aid the team to get webber the win. He w
@Stuartscott171 I totally agree with u. He doesn't share any feelings with the fans or media. He doesn't have any emotions, it is just a job to him. I really don't understand why people like Kimi.
I mean look at Hamilton, in Monaco this year, he had an aweful race but he shared his feelings and emotions with the fans. If he has a good race he thanks the fans and the team. Jenson, nico rosberg etc they care about their fans. Kimi to me is just a flesh of meat with no soul.
@slmazadza Well, that's part of the Kimi that you either love or hate....Like Kimi has many times said, his only passion is in racing...he doesnt get any satisfaction about how much his fans love him and he doesnt care what media and other people care about him.
But one thing about Kimi is that he is always humble, he doesnt "boast" even if he has driven brilliantly, he has said that he just feels no need to do that, cause the only thing that matters to him is that he himself knows that
@slmazadza As strange as it sounds that's EXACTLY why people love him ;D.....Because he really doesnt give a shit about what you or I think about him, what media writes about him, he doesnt care abou PR-stuff, interviews etc....He is there to drive and drive as fast as he can, not talk bullshit or trying to please anyone.....
I think F1 should have more people like that, the focus should be on RACING, not about how drivers perform in front of media and fans :P
@Balnazzardi Dude, I'm gonna remember your YouTube username so that I can laugh at you next year. Lewis has taken his learning year, next year he will come perfect. Even Senna did the same in 88, 89 he came back strong and won the championship. Demon hill did the same thing, Jackie Stewart same thing. All great drivers come from this route, the route of criticism and hatred. Lewis is gonna be more fierce than ever in 2012
@slmazadza Well we shall see that next year ;).ofcourse in Ham SHOULD have much better car than Kimi,so comparing them to eachother should only be look at how well they'll drive with the car given to them. It's quite unrealistic to expect that Lotus would at same level as RedBull,Mclaren or Ferrari,if everything goes perfect, they might challenge Mercedes
It's a shame that Kimi didnt return back to Mclaren, when they offered him a contract at end of 09,
@slmazadza Well it's REALLY hard :P....especially with Schumi, because he hasnt been at the same level anymore than he was before he quit...ofcourse the car hasnt been as competitive either, but compared to Rosberg....
But ok here goes (and this is just how I expect them to perform purely in DRIVING/RACING next year, not including team leadership skillz or something like that ;D)
1.Kimi, Vettel ( I really cant decide between them)
@slmazadza Kimi and Lewis surely have a racing talent, I think they proved that they're class overtakers..
Alonso is somewhere with them but not really on their level I'd say..
Button is more reserved, a tactician in my opinion..
Seb and Michael are great drivers, not to keen for overtaking though.. I know Michael's had his fair share of overtaking in the old days but you had the chance to see how keen he is about it during the past 2 years, Seb's also a good overtaker but it's not his style...
@slmazadza And let me just clarify things in that list, I dont mean that Kimi would be fighting for championship or wins, but what I expect him to do some amazing stuff with that Lotus, take it to it's limits, maybe take few podiums, but mainly that he shows same kind of excellent racing he did during his Mclaren years, when he was at his very best.
Vettel has been just so dominating, he has to be on top of my list as well. Button has really grown to be even better than Ham in my eyes, though he
how can you not say that he is not there with these guys...sure he has had just brilliant car, but look what Webber has achieved with that car this year...and that first victory came with Toro Rosso, we dont see things like that every day.....Vettel is basicly the only guy who has chance to break Michael's records...sure he made some terrible mistakes in 2010,but this year no-one could challenge him
@slmazadza Well this is how I see Falonso's situation in Ferrari
1. Massa CLEARY hasnt been on the same level he was before the accident
2. Alonso + Santander....Spanish bank who bought Kimi out of Ferrari and F1 to get Alonso there....sure Massa has been just driving VERY poorly, but I can assure you....no matter who goes to replace him, Falonso has clear #1status in the team, if he would loose that, what do you think Santander, who brings lot of sponsor money to Ferrari would think about that
@NottinghamForest22 I know, but to many it will still be "Renault". Not helped by the fact thay underlined this fake-Lotus thing taking the matter to court.
damn just inmagine if renault makes a good car and they have raikkonen and Kubica(if he returns in same performance) . they are going to be champions for sure
His expression looks like Paul Banks from Interpol

@kombatunit yes it YOUR logic. Sauber in 2001 allowed to compete for the points in EVERY race.

so stop moaning then that I compare Kimi's debut with that of Hill and JV

Damon - 69 points - he was 7,5 times better than Kimi

he should be at ferrari with Alonso...
n33dw33d3333 3 months ago

I had to rate this 5 stars because he smiled at the end a little and u don't get that from him too OFTEN. lol
babiiblueboi 3 months ago
I think Kimi is able to develop the Lotus to a better car. He gives great feedback to the team. Just like Michael Schumacher did with the Ferrari. Kimi has a feel to the car he drives when he knows what's going on ( not in rallying or nascar because that is not his cup of tea, open single seaters, like Formula 1 is ). Think the second half of the season you will see a better performance of the Lotus. So glad the Iceman comes back.
Did you see when he was talking about his passion, he smiled.

sometimes is the "worst" of these drivers mentioned, excpet for Schumi, but sometimes, especially in wet conditions, he can be absolutely brillaint....that Canada race this year was just absolutely brilliant by him, from last place to 1st.
Ham has had such bad season that I cant put him higher than that right now, if he learns just bit more patience in overtaking and doesnt let his personal life effect his driving, he could be just as great as in 2007-08.
Balnazzardi 3 months ago
best driver ever and a fair player, which is rare!! welcome back Kimi, finally excited to watch the races again :)

He w
Stuartscott171 3 months ago
@Stuartscott171 I totally agree with u. He doesn't share any feelings with the fans or media. He doesn't have any emotions, it is just a job to him. I really don't understand why people like Kimi.
I mean look at Hamilton, in Monaco this year, he had an aweful race but he shared his feelings and emotions with the fans. If he has a good race he thanks the fans and the team. Jenson, nico rosberg etc they care about their fans. Kimi to me is just a flesh of meat with no soul.
slmazadza 3 months ago
@slmazadza Well, that's part of the Kimi that you either love or hate....Like Kimi has many times said, his only passion is in racing...he doesnt get any satisfaction about how much his fans love him and he doesnt care what media and other people care about him.
But one thing about Kimi is that he is always humble, he doesnt "boast" even if he has driven brilliantly, he has said that he just feels no need to do that, cause the only thing that matters to him is that he himself knows that
Balnazzardi 3 months ago
@Balnazzardi Kimi is soulless, i mean......I dont get why people like him so much. He doesn't even give a SHIT about u.
slmazadza 3 months ago
@slmazadza As strange as it sounds that's EXACTLY why people love him ;D.....Because he really doesnt give a shit about what you or I think about him, what media writes about him, he doesnt care abou PR-stuff, interviews etc....He is there to drive and drive as fast as he can, not talk bullshit or trying to please anyone.....
I think F1 should have more people like that, the focus should be on RACING, not about how drivers perform in front of media and fans :P
Balnazzardi 3 months ago
@slmazadza Yeah, there is nothing wrong with just saying thank-you to the fans. Jeez
His character is just aweful, he should try to be more sportsman like.
slmazadza 3 months ago
@slmazadza point well made :) I don't have anything else to say.
But one thing for sure, Hamilton will be back in 2012
As for u, I hope u enjoy watching Kimi race ' he loves u so much ' I hope 2012 will be a good season
I have to go mate, good debate lol
slmazadza 3 months ago
So glad that Kimi is back..He is exciting!! Gives a lot more excitement to this almost monotonous show, nowadays.
Don't get me wrong..I do love Vettel who is so amazing (melkein suomalainen mies..lol) and I am so happy that these guys are great friends!!

His gonna get fucked by Hamilton
slmazadza 3 months ago
@slmazadza Hah!...judging by this year's performance, Lewis is the one who is going to get raped :P
Balnazzardi 3 months ago
@Balnazzardi Dude, I'm gonna remember your YouTube username so that I can laugh at you next year. Lewis has taken his learning year, next year he will come perfect. Even Senna did the same in 88, 89 he came back strong and won the championship. Demon hill did the same thing, Jackie Stewart same thing. All great drivers come from this route, the route of criticism and hatred. Lewis is gonna be more fierce than ever in 2012
slmazadza 3 months ago
@slmazadza Well we shall see that next year ;).ofcourse in Ham SHOULD have much better car than Kimi,so comparing them to eachother should only be look at how well they'll drive with the car given to them. It's quite unrealistic to expect that Lotus would at same level as RedBull,Mclaren or Ferrari,if everything goes perfect, they might challenge Mercedes
It's a shame that Kimi didnt return back to Mclaren, when they offered him a contract at end of 09,
then we would have seen who is better :P
Balnazzardi 3 months ago
@Balnazzardi Yeah I agree, its not fair to compare them when they are in different cars.
I'm just saying that Lewis is gonna do a better job in 2012, and maybe even fight for the championship.
I've got a question for u..... Alonso, Kimi, Button, Hamilton, vettel and micheal, in terms of raw talent can u pliz rank these drivers?
Remember, they are all champions
slmazadza 3 months ago
@slmazadza Well it's REALLY hard :P....especially with Schumi, because he hasnt been at the same level anymore than he was before he quit...ofcourse the car hasnt been as competitive either, but compared to Rosberg....
But ok here goes (and this is just how I expect them to perform purely in DRIVING/RACING next year, not including team leadership skillz or something like that ;D)
1.Kimi, Vettel ( I really cant decide between them)
2.Button
3.Hamilton (real tight with Jenson)
4.Alonso
5.Michael
Balnazzardi 3 months ago
@slmazadza Kimi and Lewis surely have a racing talent, I think they proved that they're class overtakers..
Alonso is somewhere with them but not really on their level I'd say..
Button is more reserved, a tactician in my opinion..
Seb and Michael are great drivers, not to keen for overtaking though.. I know Michael's had his fair share of overtaking in the old days but you had the chance to see how keen he is about it during the past 2 years, Seb's also a good overtaker but it's not his style...
dStormHBb 3 months ago
@slmazadza And let me just clarify things in that list, I dont mean that Kimi would be fighting for championship or wins, but what I expect him to do some amazing stuff with that Lotus, take it to it's limits, maybe take few podiums, but mainly that he shows same kind of excellent racing he did during his Mclaren years, when he was at his very best.
Vettel has been just so dominating, he has to be on top of my list as well. Button has really grown to be even better than Ham in my eyes, though he
Balnazzardi 3 months ago
@Balnazzardi Not this year, I'm talking about natural raw talent, who is a naturally talented ?
slmazadza 3 months ago
@slmazadza Ah ok, well then ;P
1.Kimi or Vettel
2.Hamilton
3.Schumi
4.Alonso
5.Button
Balnazzardi 3 months ago
@Balnazzardi LOL, u think Vettel has the same amount of talent as Kimi, ham and alonso
Stop playing lol
slmazadza 3 months ago
@slmazadza Hey, if the guy is
1.youngest driver to win a race
2.youngest double world champion
how can you not say that he is not there with these guys...sure he has had just brilliant car, but look what Webber has achieved with that car this year...and that first victory came with Toro Rosso, we dont see things like that every day.....Vettel is basicly the only guy who has chance to break Michael's records...sure he made some terrible mistakes in 2010,but this year no-one could challenge him
Balnazzardi 3 months ago
@Balnazzardi Well Mark Webber, his just a SHIT driver. U can't really compare him to vettel.
But what if Alonso and Vettel where in that redbull ?
Have u seen what Alonso has been doing with that ferrari?
slmazadza 3 months ago
@slmazadza Well this is how I see Falonso's situation in Ferrari
1. Massa CLEARY hasnt been on the same level he was before the accident
2. Alonso + Santander....Spanish bank who bought Kimi out of Ferrari and F1 to get Alonso there....sure Massa has been just driving VERY poorly, but I can assure you....no matter who goes to replace him, Falonso has clear #1status in the team, if he would loose that, what do you think Santander, who brings lot of sponsor money to Ferrari would think about that
Balnazzardi 3 months ago
@Balnazzardi loll. Vettel is better than Kimi, and Schumacher has had his day.
