I went to see The Cars live in Louisville on this tour for the sole purpose of figuring out how Elliot was playing was playing this song. It was still general admission so we got there early, was the first ones in and hung on to the barrier for dear life. Finally got to this song, I saw how he played it (so simple, just hammer the the strings in triplets) and did gave him the geeky thumbs up. He just looked at me, smiled and shook his head like " oh geez".
