But i also have the Halo Edition 360, which runs much smoother and processes data at a much faster rate. (tweeking of course...NO MODS). Theres a simple secret to the Halo 360 that very few know. Its upgradable...w/out any mods at all! Lets just say ur graphics will be on steroids!

I have the limited edition on the xbox 360 and ps3. I played both of them on each system. The only thing i didnt like was the ps3 crappy framerate, which froze up numerous times and not even a single hiccup on my xbox 360! (the God of all consoles!)

from what I've heard, thats normal on the 360 version. not sure why, but it probably has something to do with the engine being developed for the ps3 first them ported over. but idk.

I suggest to clear system cache of your xbox hdd. I had similar problems with Red Dead Redemption - fps was wery low in towns - after clearing system cache problem disapeared - same here - I'm playing C-vania now and it run OK for me.

I played it on PS3 and never found this problem. I heard it was only present on the Xbox 360 version.

The freezing problem only occured on some xbox's im assuming older models possibly. i never had the problem on ps3. Incredible game btw :)

I don(t know why it happened.I think one of the power up was the problem.but which one

I had the game installed on hdd (both disks)

once the problem happened I couldn't play the passed levels without freezes after each dead.

all I can say is that erasing the save finishes the issues.sad!

Have you even noticed the low framerate..that's the reason for your "freeze"(it's actual a lag).

I played the demo on my Xbox 360 Elite and the low FPS made me wonder why can't you low the resolution or disable the Anti-Aliasing

That's not right. Can be incredibly annoying(As it happens to me often on Borderlands) so I know how frustrating it can be on a game you like. I dunno what to suggest other than try a different disc(As in take it back for another)?

When I clicked on this, I expected it to be some foolish person mistaking the dramatic slowdown for actual performance issues, but seeing that, your game is definitely fucking up You should probably trade it in for another copy, as yours is probably defective, I'm playing it on xbox 360 as well, and while it does go into slow motion for kills like it's supposed to, it does not stutter like that

its not the disc, its not he ps3, or the 360, its actually the game - it was written poorly and coded poorly and this is the result.

@rojman123 The freeze from each kill is so heavy that it actually disrupts platforming (delayed deaths like imps) and combos. If you drop holy water in a group of ghouls the game comes to a standstill for several seconds consecutively.
