I´ve always problems with wmg, because of that i used classic music like Bizet, Tchaikovsky and now see i cant even use that music too. @toomyg155 if you buy a cd it doesn't give you rights to put it in a video and upload to youtube. This is called a synchronization right, purchasing a CD only gives you listening rights. I know, it's a bit wild, but this is how it works.

I get the same problem with WMG and GoDigital. When I upload videos containing copyrighted material I can agree that they have to right to do whatever they wish with the audio but only THEIR audio.

GoDigital claims copyright on royalty-free audio.

Just file a report through the video. Still annoying because they take my time and energy.

QUESTION? Why is it on some peoples videos there are music tracks over written the original commentary and the whole video plays say of someone driving in their car instead of the background noise and chit chat you hear lets say PALL WALL BREAK EM OFF or something like that.

How come these people can upload videos and still hear so called coprighted music in their home videos?

I"ve got videos that have not been removed, but I have a "copyright warning" added to it. One says it "may not be able to viewed in certain countries". It's a video of waterfall footage I took in a state park in New York, narrated by me and with a musical background of "Clair de Lune" by Claude deBussy who has been dead since 1918. Go figure!! It was this GoDigitalMedia again. On another, ads are appearing in it. Again, go figure.

FIRST of all, if you got some copyrighted video, they remove all the audio because its simply a carpet stain. Cant remove it, just remove the whole carpet area. Also, its a bot thats removing the videos. You can trick the bot with simply a 30 second intro, then after that, play the copyrighted music. You got 1 minute to play it.

I would just mark all of YouTube's offficial tutorials/ channel's video 1 star since they honestly need to get some fucking sense knocked into them

Even I received the same crap email from youtube!! But I was susprised as I had used AR Rahman's music in my video, "protein engineering course in claflin university".

I've the same trouble. My objection: audio content made with Apple's GarageBand. Yuotube's reply:

To be clear, if you go out and buy a record or cd, (or online as a mp3)... it still isn't "your" music. You only by the right to listen to the music. All rights, including the music itself still belong to the rights-holder. It's like buying software. You don't OWN the software, you just license the ability to use it.

I have the music "Waltz of the Blue Danube" and "Dance of the Mirlitons" in my latest video and it got copyrighted by GoDigital Media group.

Strange thing is, these songs have been written by Johann Strauss and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky which are both deceased as of 1899 and 1893 and since these dates are more than 70 years ago any rights must have reverted to Public Domain and even then, GoDigital is still claiming copyright over it.

The work has been in the Public Domain for over 150 years, but GoDigital claims that they own it and that they own my performance of it.
