@aquaberry4 The sims 3 is alot like the sims 2 but with better graphics and more customization(from what Ive seen Im just getting it today) it also has an open world and the whole sims community ages together instead of having to play in a household to age that certain family of sims, it is a base game and you can get expansion packs for it just like before, hope this helps :)

@bsbroxmysox When you get sims 3 you can add exspansion packs that add stuff to the game. So for example, if you got world adventures and installed it, all the stuff in the world adventures game would be in in the sims 3. You can add as many as you want they all get made into one game.

Do you have Sims 2/Expansion Packs??

Uninstall all the Sims 2 and Expansion Packs

Then download Sims 3 after Uninstalling all the sims 2 stuff.

It should work. : )

Thats how I helped my friend its not on my computer yet but Im getting it soon I hope.

OR take ur computer to Best Buy then the computer geeks will do it for you for maybe $150 dollers. Hope it helps!
