  • do you have to do the ruffles? because i wanted to use this pattern, since im a horseback rider, for an english bib

  • so cute, will try to make one! thanks :))

  • Love Threadbanger! This channel's helped me completely alter my wardrobe for the next school year at half the cost of just buying new clothing. :)

  • i love that!, great way to dress up low cost.

  • I just recently made one with lace on some of the pintucks and collar, too bad I can't send in a pic to them anymore.

  • What's the name/pattern/source of that lovely black dress in the background of the BurdaStyle workshop?

  • jezuz that boy and girl r annoying

  • @joshrudduck As annoying as people who can't spell?

  • Great tutorial, but it could be made alot easier, you only need one piece instead of the two front pieces and placket: all you need is a box pleat in the middle and topstitch if desired. You could also avoid binding the edges by just bagging it out :)

  • i cant get this video to work

  • whould this be wired if i put this on a dress

  • @lmfaolol9 i think that would be really cute! i was going to get a dress with one of these on it from modcloth.com.

  • @Sophiaxxdarling thanks and i did make a dress with a bib on it it looks so cute!

  • i wish you guys could make a video on making a tuxedo shirt from a regular white shirt cause basically the only difference is the link holes the that flappy thing on the chest

  • yea got lost at the folding

  • Yay!!! Totally going on a Lolita dress!!!

  • yay for lolita!!!:}

  • exactly what i'm thinking :) :P

  • @sydmc2525

    lol same here :D

  • i like this idea, but i totally got lost!

  • me too

  • Its like 10 min of tutorial!! this is the longest episode i have ever watched!!!!!

  • A lot of steps!

  • love the shrug (?) thing corrines wearingg :] <3

  • where is their accent from?

  • they could be jewish, w/ a hebrewish accent. I think i spotted a hay necklace that she was wearing. (hay: hebrew letter)

  • Burda is a German comany.

  • beautiful but too difficult for me.

  • I like the new intro thingy!

  • i will love to see rob and corinne going to the country, and not just in the office

  • I love their accents. I love burdaystyle and I hope they will appear more often.

  • that looks incredibly hard.

    but still very neat (:

  • Could you have some episodes on Lolita Gothic/Harajuku fashion?

  • Ahh dude u totally read my mind. i freakin love Lolita. i already make those but would like new ideas. totally doubt they would do that.

  • I would really like to see more dresses. I also wish decor it yourself was more frequent

  • I love it!!!

  • i wanna know how to make that black sweater thing Corinnes wearing it looks awesome

  • Totally agree with you!

  • ha!

i remember that yellow and brown striped scarf!

  • from where?

  • woah, it looked like something tried to eat Corinne's sweater. o.o

but the bib was very cute under her shirt with the jacket. ^^ Not very cute if it was worn on top of something.

  • nice black off the shoulder sweater thing Corrine (sry if i misspelled)

  • Oh wow, that's really cool and original,

but it looks so hard to make.

&& The grey jacket the left one from Burdastyle wore is awesome too.

  • hufflepuff scarf ftw

  • That's so cute!

I think you should do more beginner how-tos and maybe include clothes from different cultures.

  • Maybe a Beginner Day or Week, all basic stuff the newbie can try out, like taking everybody through an easy step-by-step. More experienced sewistas get the bulk of the vids, and that's fine; just remember wannabes are really scared to screw up.

Oh, and MORE of crafty How-To's as in season 1. Less from talking heads. Maybe you could do special interviews and other eppies wherein we actually get shown how to make stuff ourselves.

You guys have rocked the DIY world! Happy 2009!

  • Perfect! Thanks so much, I need to add some collars to some work T's for my husband. This has given me the inspiration to make them removable & fix them on with velcro! Many many thanks.

  • hey good tute. more how-to's are always appreciated!

future show content: maybe a segment/show about what is happening with fashion around the world - not exactly designer fashion, but more street-wear and such perhaps - current fads.

also, maybe showcase diff groups who make their own clothing/costumes for events, such as larpers, cosplayers...the fashion culture of geeks. i'll admit, some of them do go to extremes and come out with beautiful work.

  • That's a great idea! I would love to see that. :D

  • I like it, I wish I could make it...My sewing machine broke *cry*

  • i love rob's scarff!!!!

    i love threadbanger!

  • oooo man that's going to be a lot of work, as for what I would like to see in the new year, I guess more how to's, that crochet got me hooked so maybe more of that, hmmm, perhaps more projects that are geared to multiple body shapes, not exactly as lucky as Corinne is in body image heh

  • expert...death..LOL

  • that's really cute, but i definitely would screw that up royally.

  • how do you make the black shirt corinne is wearing in the video it is so coo!!!!

  • that top shes wearing at the beginning looks like garbage

    everything else is cool though

  • I want Corinne's hat more than anything lol.

  • Corinne, how did you make that black top?

  • looks like a lot of work ....why not get one of those tux shirts!!...lol!!

  • I'm gonna have to get practicing to make this!

  • fabulous!

  • i have to wear a school uniforme to school becase i go to cathlic school so what cool diy things can i wear

  • At my school a lot of girls wore kilt pins, but I don't know what kind of skirt you wear... Do you have any shoe, jewelry, or hair accessory restrictions?

  • we cant wear hop earings hop and we can only wear sertun shoes but we can do what ever we hair accessorys

  • haha i totally recognize the garageband loop in the background, used it for a mystery film once

    very cool tutorial!

  • awesomeness:]

  • her voice is so annoying and so is the background music!!!!!!!!!!!!!ahhh!!!!!!!!!

  • this is cool but really confusing.

  • i love this! i like the more difficult projects, they're so interesting!

  • yay! i finally got my sewing machine now i can actually do ur projects!

  • In the beginning I was quite skeptical about it, but it actually looks really cool!

  • I agree. It looked kinda dumb at first, but I love the way it turned out.

  • it's so awesome!

if only i had a sewin machine;(...i'd be the most luckyest person in the world but my mom isn't rich enough to buy me one;(i'm almost crying right now;(

    but the idea's so amazing:)

    * * * * *

  • aaaaaaaahaha oh man.

i thought it was a bib for sloppy eaters.

it looks really nice at the end though.

  • that is really cool :D

  • ooo tht was kool!

  • Pretty cool! :-)

  • That was awesome.
