I think one of the reasons I liked Cloverfield is because the monster is so alien, it has no orignin or backstory of any kind. It just appears.

the atomic bomb should of killed cloverfield but if you look at research clover feild was in the epicenter. what im saying is that anything in the epicenter of a nuke blast can still hold its structure or live. look at the nuke blasts anything in the center was still standing. its outside the epicenter that is really effective

Zilla is a way better monster than a scared baby alien crying for it's mom. It wouldn't be Zilla anyway fighting Cloverfeild, it would be Zilla's son Zilla jr. Zilla with all japanese Godzilla's powers. swim, climb, jump, breath atomic breath, revive quickly..... clover does not have a chance Expectialy when people are going to take Zilla's side since he actually is from Earth.

Nice job man. You edited the scenes together perfectly. Suggestion, the part in the Cloverfield trailer when we see the brige shakeing could have been followed by the scene where Zilla is running across the Broklin Brige.

I have a video capture device that plugs into the USB port on the front of my computer, I bought it at K-Mart for 50.00. Any device that has component cables (red, white, yellow) plug into the front of it. I hooked up my portable DVD player and the Godzilla DVD, went to Windows Movie Maker and started to get the clips I needed. I had audio problems and didn't get any sound, but I've got that figured out and now it works really good. Hope this helps!
