I bought 545i, because I spent so much time in car. 545 is much more comfortable and driving specs are same as 645ci ... But 645 looks much hotter... If you dont drive so much and you want a pussymagnet, than 645ci, if you want great and practical bussiness limousine, than 545i
Your 5 is much heavier and isn't as low profile. I bet if you would beat the F355, especially off the line, if you lowered and lightened your car. : )

I own a 545i. I have no idea how good a F355 goes, but I imagine its faster in every conceivable scenario. The faster you get the less of a difference you will be able to tell between two cars that are close in terms of power. The faster you go, the less the weight factor matters. I must say tho that the 545i is a blessing to drive fast with on the Autobahn, you're not much better of driving that Ferrari there. Still the Ferrari owns you in every comparison that matters for sports cars.
Like i said, ferrari is truly a work of art. I was just throwing out that the BMW 545i didn't even do that bad against the ferrari. (as you can see in the final race) I've pulled on a stock E46 M3 in my stock 545i from 100km/h to 250km/h i have no idea how that happened, but it did!

my 95 f355 spyder smokes my old 2002 e46 m3 everywhere in the rev range except maybe the 0-60 1st and second gear pull (where they are practically identical). at 60mph on the highway the f355 leaves the m3 standing still, and last I checked the m3 was faster than that 545i
Is it me or is the RPM too low on the Ferrari when they start "Racing". If the driver had dropped a gear first you would have seen the same effect we see at the beginning and end of the video I think. From what I have seen, Ferraris need the high RPM to accelerate quickly.
Ferrari is not built to go fast straight ahead on Autobahn. They have never focused on top speed and 0-100 km/h (O.60 mph if you want) It´s made to take corners quick and is a excellent drivers car. You can even get a SUV to go faster than a Ferrari 430, but so what? Great sound on that Capristo, what level is it?

The guy in the 545i was way to late on throttle every time he should have been flooring it alittle sooner. Obviously the ferrari would still win but it would have been alittle closer. There was one part when they were both on the accelerator at the same time. Put a supercharger on that 545i and good by 355's and 360's in a luxury sedan. Great vid, ferrari's really are a work of art!
Bel video, anche se non ne capisco il senso...la BMW è sempre comunque limitata nella velocità! 250km/h e non di più! ammenochè uno gli tolga il limitatore! Questa F355 fà troppo ghetto, credo che abbia gli scrichi challenge.
