If anything, One Piece is consistent in building up the 3 admirals (Aokiji, Kizaru, and Akainu) as forces of power NOT to be fucked with. Akainu killed Ace and battled Whitebeard then had to have like 3-4 powerful people all protect Luffy just so they could enable him to live and even then Luffy almost died. Kizaru killed what? 3-4 of the supernovas or something? And went toe to toe with Rayleigh? Now all that's left is to see what happens after the 2 year timeskip.

@kinnasna nope, whitebeard ability can't hit logia users unless it's equiped with haki. and for blackbeard his ability is weak agains't non power users coz his body doesn't turn to darkness. and if u watch skypea arc again, u'll see that the closest ability to being perfect is Lightning
@nordownage I've gotta agree with the other guy, Kizaru's is best. The light does more damage than lightning, moves faster than lightning, and there is no devil fruit that can simply overpower it, like Luffy's Gomu Gomu no mi did to Enel

Even though Mihawk is labeled the greatest swordsman alive, Shanks fights at least him on par with him, as it has been stated, losing one arm didnt hurt his fighting power, even though Mihawk does not spar with him anymore due to that. (possibly teasing him?)

He DID attack regardless of Beckman. Silvers Rayleigh is Admiral level, nothing more, nothing less.

Most of which he shrugged off.

Now THIS is an anime with the epicness of DBZ but NO HOLES. @nordownage Given the fact, that Shanks' mere presence was able to instill fear in Sengoku, Garp, the 3 admirals, the Blackbeard crew and the division commanders of Whitebeard, it is pretty safe to assume he is the real deal. Even though Mihawk is labeled the greatest swordsman alive, Shanks fights at least him on par with him, as it has been stated, losing one arm didnt hurt his fighting power, even though Mihawk does not spar with him anymore due to that. (possibly teasing him?)

DESPITE ALL OF THAT, he was still strong enough to outspeed Akainu, survive close proximity to, contact with, and injuries caused by magma, which is so hot that standing too close to it for too long can kill a person, on top of all of those sword, bullet, and CANNON wounds. Most of which he shrugged off.
