  • Paul Kossoff, fucking brilliant. Just everything he played was great. Perfect playing, tone, composed just right. His Les Pauls were always great, 50's LP's. Greatest vibrato also of any guitarist. RIP Man, you were one of a kind

  • had a chance to see Free in 1971 but I passed it up and f##k me I've regretted it since....

  • @tonfan well, it could had been worse... a marriage, a job, a long trip....

  • Muito bom!!!!

  • Still luv it! Thanks.

  • IS THIS A 1959 LES PAUL?

  • @springfieldFam I'm not shure, but do think so (Y)

  • all right now baby its alright now. just as it ever was! This one started my guitar playin! still do this one! at 58 years of rock and roll bliss!

  • Paul Rodgers, mwah !!!!!!!!

  • ..this is a great little slice of pop/rock history made from somebody's super-8 or 16mm, I am guessing, B&W film footage. It's got stuff that the studio version doesn't have. Too bad the singer's mike wasn't of better quality but, overall it's a great video to upload of one of the very best later sixties pop/blues-rock bands in the EU and or USA. I think I am going to see if their is some Mountain and some more Canned Heat stuff that comes up now when I search for it..

    btw, thanks alot!

  • There has never been such a lot of talent in one band as FREE

Paul Kossoff RIP stunning guitar and Andy Fraser's superb bassplaying,

sometimes working like a rhythm guitarist en fantastic Simon Kirke's powerfull playing

and of course, the best rocksinger in the world and beyond:

    Paul Rodgers

No doubt: I got and still play, everything from this band !

  • Hey if you miss this old rock music then check out our new band D-Day who need your support to bring classic rock back with our own original music! If You like us please subscribe :)

  • PURE - RAW - ENERGY

  • 57 słuchało bez głośników ;)

  • This is a rare gem, a perfect beast of a song by a stellar group of massively talented artists!

Drums like pounding waves crashing on the shores of us, A throbbing heartbeat of Bass that touches deep within. The Guitar a powerfull spell that weaves a perfect framework with Drums and Bass to capture and highlight the voice of sheer smouldering soulful sex appeal!

This is Blues Based Rock done to perfection!

  • Way to go U.Paul fantastic tune

    will never age

  • I don't think joe bonatossa should have played Paul's guitar or Rory Gallagher's Strat either. I couldn't believe it when I saw it and thought that he would be the last person to have been allowed played those two guitars, if anyone should!?

Joe Bonatosser isn't in the same league and should be dragged out into a field and have all his fingers hacked off with a blunt spoon for the sacrilege acts he committed ;-)

  • @shirtcreek who used hes guitar?

  • @aoifeluvzk Search for>>>> joe bonamassa plays mr big on paul kossoff,s guitar at newca

  • shame about the sound

  • @derrymadness It's all we had way back then....crappy recording equipment....mind you it's not doing to bad today is it? 1,824,420 views so far. :-)

  • @shirtcreek yea good for back then. great tune..

  • @derrymadness woo-hoo, now I've had to come back and listen again.....I can still smell the dust in the old amp smokin' ;-)

  • @shirtcreek haha, yip i had to listen to this version again :)

  • @derrymadness This could go on for a while lol

  • @shirtcreek yep here we go again haha

  • @derrymadness Yup, but I snook a sneaky one in yesterday, I needed my fix hahaha ;-p

  • You say Bruno Mars, I say Guns'n Roses

You say Hannah Montana, I say Aerosmith

You say Owl City, I say Bon Jovi

You say Jonas Brothers, I say Johnny Cash

You say Taylor Swift, I say AC/DC

You say Justin Bieber, I say Fuck You

95% of teens these days listen to the same gay, crappy pop over and over again. If you're one of the 5% who still listens to real music, thumb this up, then copy and paste it to at least five videos. Don't let the spirit of rock and roll die! chain comen

  • @seansuttonusa It makes me so mad to listen to people like you...because you are so fucking right.....exactly right , man.....

  • @seansuttonusa I agree with you o all of them except for the Johnny Cash one. I'd have chosen Roy Orbison. And you're right there is so little talent out there today it's a shame, and the really talented ones don't get seen because they don't fit the mold the execs want..cutsie girl dressed in practically nothing, lypsinching to their electronically enhanced songs or teeny bopper boys with high voices.

  • great song

  • This song makes me feel like everything is going to be alright!

  • Carlsberg don't do one hit wonders but if they did...

  • CLASSIC ROCK IS THE BEST

  • great song

  • All Right Now RARE es the best, a mi siempre me gusto mucho

  • this band is the best of classic bands

  • great band

  • I don't know what these fellas would have been consuming at the time - but whatever it was, it had the guitar player believing he was playing like Steve Howe.

  • Class is permanent. Truly great band.

  • Paul Rodgers....

  • all you from the 70's, no way shall we let the modern youth forget our power and our generation! its our job to remind the modern youth to face "The Man!!", and tell him to fuck himself and his sorry ass sister! Rock On!!

  • @acerb45666555 Rock And Roll will never old!

  • I like this version the best out of most ive seen on youtube.

  • Is the date right? I played alongside Free in '69, maybe Feb/March, and they weren't doing Alright Now. . Maybe later that year? And their hair wasn't this long!!

  • Is the date right? I played alongside Free in '69, and they weren't doing Alright Now in maybe Feb/March. Maybe later that year? And their hair wasn't this long!!

  • Free was one of the main influences for Iron Maiden,Steve Harris said that. They both are great bands.

  • Best band ever.

  • Andy was only fifteen and I think the oldest of the four was not quite seventeen, an awesome achievement.

  • @cerij4242 no, Paul Rodgers and Simon Kirke were 20 at the time. still pretty young though

  • Wow I jujst search "Free" randomly and I found this. I love this song, heard it before but I had no idea free was the band or they Aussie........Double Win !!

  • @tekNiqueAU They're not Aussie, you b---ke!!!!!!!! These are Britain's finest, with killer Jewish guitar: Kossoff, Peter Green, Bolan, etc.

  • @panthercap Heh Sorry mate sounds sorta Aussie, plus the released in Australia in the description got me........British Rock eh.

  • @tekNiqueAU No sweat dude! You are forgiven. We have so little to celebrate in Britain that we get a bit defensive when someone tries to claim one of our finest bands. Bloody great track in any event.

  • @tekNiqueAU Ok dude, I forgive you. If you told a Frenchman that Edith Piaf was an Aussie they would probably kill you.

Now check out "All Right Now The 1970 Isle of Wight Festival" - Just brilliant! (And by the way the IoW is British too...)

  • Yes,it was alright back in the day.

  • Cool as, the best

  • iDementoR....You might be right....AC/DC does have that power chord punch that we all love. but you gotta love Any Fraser - the Bass player. He's got that melodious punch that drives Paul Kossoff. take a listen to "The Stealer" by Free. You'll see what I mean.....the Bass line ROCKS...good insight...

  • @iDementoR There are some definite similarities.

  • As a teenager I grew up in one of the most progressive radio/music environs on the planet, SF bay area. Had not heard of Free, surprizingly. Ponied up door fare at a crowded little dive bar up in Edinborough, Scotland one night, summer of '69. The band was Free. I was blown away by their overall sound, kinda sparse, simple but soooo packed with emotion. I thought I'd discovered the next Cream or Yardbirds or something. Meanwhile "ARN" had exploded on the air back home. News travels quick.
