@Assassynator Exactly :) The Bellas are bad but when they first came in and were having matches with tara and natalya they pulled of a few decent technical moves between them. Kelly however is a disgrace. the only remotely impressive move she does is the backflip reversal when someone catches her leg after a kick attempt. and even that is marred by the stupid amount of time she spends bobbing on one leg. she needs to train and i mean HARD if she thinks shes going to earn respect from anyone. :)
@salvicaleno She didn't win the Women's Title like Lita or Trish: she was a heel wrestler. The fans weren't supposed to like her. Remember when everyone hated Victoria when she was a heel and then they all loved her when she changed to a face wrestler? If Jazz was a face wrestler then I think she would have had just as many fans as Lita and Trish because she was a great wrestler. Stacy Kiebler and Torrie Wilson were liked by the fans: they were pretty, but could they wrestle like Jazz?

@salvicaleno Lita was a spot monkey. A few impressive moves here and there. I'm not bashing her wrestling abilities. There is a reason WWE gave Trish 7 titles, she was THAT diva, the one fans wanted to see, the one who was in demand. When Lita got injured there weren't any decent divas around who could carry the division.
Trish' wrestling skills however, were overrated but so were Lita's. Both average, I still like the both though.
Lita was basically the only diva back then that came close to Trish as far as the complete package and that is also why she had as much success as she did. Again, there were better wrestlers than those two but those are the two that are most remembered because they werent as one dimensional as some of the other divas
I am not sure how a lot of people say that Trish is overrated because of her 7 reigns. If people say she is the greatest wrestler, then yea. That would make her overrated but no one ever says that.
She was however the greatest diva and the reason she had so many titles compared to superior wrestlers like Jazz, Molly among others was that she had the complete package, Looks, charisma, decent mic skills and was still above average as a wrestler over time. She was the face of that division
Jazz still wrestles. I'd love for her to come back to WWE. Her and Beth could put on some good matches. (I pick jazz to win). And i think she could put on a good match with Kharma as well.

Just because Trish was very pretty, blonde, and had implants doesn't make her a slut. She was with her now husband for fifteen years before they tied the knot. I never watched this match before, but i know that Trish lost this match because she was in Toronto, Canada with the Maple Leaf on her butt, for Wrestle Mania and lost. Bummer!!! It would have been amazing for her to have the Canadian Flag on and win the championship, but.... BUMMER!!!!

Yeah, but like you said the womens division only got interesting in 2002, so they wouldn't want to damage it by letting Victoria beat a two times womens champion in a normal match when the womens division was starting to get interesting. Also, Gail Kim only got to win the womens championship in her first match in a battle royal, so it was believable that she was able to win it: all you had to do is throw someone over the top rop and I think Jazz was supposed to win, but Victoria knocked her out.

Trish made more money wrestling than she did being a fitness model, so I don't think she cared about taking a few risks.

Also, in 2001 Trish was Vince Mcmahon's slut, so I thinks that's why she got the title 7 times.

@pcbh168 trish stratus was overrated point blank. she turned out to be a ok wrestler at best. she was just another eye candy diva in the wwe. jazz and lita on the other hand were well accomplished veterans. they wrestled in the indies for years and against each other in ecw. trish stratus isnt even on their level. she was only pushed based on her looks thats it. lita was pushed based on her talent and so was jazz being one of the most dominate womans champions ever. jazz and lita were the best.

@Assassynator Exactly :) The Bellas are bad but when they first came in and were having matches with tara and natalya they pulled of a few decent technical moves between them. Kelly however is a disgrace. the only remotely impressive move she does is the backflip reversal when someone catches her leg after a kick attempt. and even that is marred by the stupid amount of time she spends bobbing on one leg. she needs to train and i mean HARD if she thinks shes going to earn respect from anyone. :)

Remember when everyone hated Victoria when she was a heel and then they all loved her when she changed to a face wrestler? There is a reason WWE gave Trish 7 titles, she was THAT diva, the one fans wanted to see, the one who was in demand. When Lita got injured there weren't any decent divas around who could carry the division.
Trish' wrestling skills however, were overrated but so were Lita's. Both average, I still like the both though.

I am not sure how a lot of people say that Trish is overrated because of her 7 reigns. If people say she is the greatest wrestler, then yea. That would make her overrated but no one ever says that.
She was however the greatest diva and the reason she had so many titles compared to superior wrestlers like Jazz, Molly among others was that she had the complete package, Looks, charisma, decent mic skills and was still above average as a wrestler over time. She was the face of that division

Just because Trish was very pretty, blonde, and had implants doesn't make her a slut. She was with her now husband for fifteen years before they tied the knot. Trish was NOT a favorite of mine at all. I remember her debut from heat and her entire run with WWE. If you can say she didn't improve and become more than a valet then you are blind! She came a longggggggggggggg way. She helped that division.

So WWE had to push her extra extra hard to give the fans want they paied to see. Trish did work hard in 2002-2006 but I do agree that many talents were overlooked because of this. But at the end of the day it's all about sports entertainment and entertaining the fans in which Trish did. But I do agree with you:)

I think Molly and Jazz were extremely talented diva's. Yes, Trish was boring, she could only do the stratusfaction because someone had to lift her up and that head scissors takedown was pathetic, anyone could have stopped that, but they had to job to Trish to let her do it. The fans only liked that match because Stephanie threw a jug of water over Trish and she spanked her, so they only liked it because the slut was getting spanked, not because Trish was wrestling good, because she obviously wasn't. Well if they did job to Jazz, it was only because Jazz was an extremely good wrestler, after all she was in ECW wrestling men, so they wanted Jazz to show off her incredible moves, unlike Trish, who they jobbed to, so she perform her crap moves.

I find the match hella entertaining. Jazz wasn't the only good wrestler. Molly Holly was better in my opinion. Trish improved in 2002 and she was very athletic. I watched her match with Stephanie, she was crap and she had that match with Stephanie when she was involved in that slut storyline . Plus, that match was one of the worst matches I have ever seen, it might have been long, but it was crap. Diva's weren't jobbing to Jazz, she was the best wrestler there, that's why she was given the big push, unlike Trish who only got the title: she was sleeping with Vince.

@pcbh168 Clearly that is your opinion. Many found the match entertaining and Trish did pull of some moves. That match was SOLID 15 minutes and to think she was still a fitness model. That obviously proved Trish's determination to make it as a great wrestler but you don't see her rather than just a "slut". And divas were jobbing to Jazz for 3 months before she got injured. And Trish proved herself champ worthy. That's my opinion NOT yours. And Trish never "slept" with McMahon (for the 200th time)

Trish was a model that because a decent wrestler and paied off. She brought the fans entertainment like Lita, Jazz, Ivory and Molly did. She was crap! The only good move she could do was the 'Bulldog' and anyone could have done that. Yeah, but when they gave her the womens championship in 2001, she didn't have charisma, mic skill or wrestling, but she had the looks and thats the only reason she was pushed, because of her looks and because she slept with Vince. Jazz wasn't pushed: she wasn't pretty enough, so she was a heel, but she was still entertaining and she was given the title because she could actually wrestle.

Yes, but I think that was Trish's first womens championship match and it was at a PPV. So, why did they even include her in the match? All the other women in the Survivor Series match were extremely talented, except her. And she was the next face of the company the FAS wanted to see, so WWE gave them Trish. WWE pushes champs based on charisma, mic skills, wrestling and looks. Trish had most of them but she needed improvement in the wrestling department which she did. The fans didn't want a boring women's champ like Jazz with no charisma or mic skills. Yeah, but like you said the womens division only got interesting in 2002, so they wouldn't want to damage it by letting Victoria beat a two times womens champion in a normal match when the womens division was starting to get interesting. Also, Gail Kim only got to win the womens championship in her first match in a battle royal, so it was believable that she was able to win it: all you had to do is throw someone over the top rop and I think Jazz was supposed to win, but Victoria knocked her out.

Jazz beat Trish in their first match for the title. Jazz dominated Trish in nearly all the matches they had. Same thing goes for Molly. Plus in 2001 most matches were Bra and Panties, Mud Matches etc. And the crowd was chanting "Puppies". Yep, they seem very interested.

I meant Victoria was impressive: she debuted a month before and she's having a hardcore match. I think Trish was forced to have the hardcore match: she had to lose the title to Victoria and since Victoria was new at that time, she had to lose it to her in a hardcore match, as it would look strange that a diva who came a month ago could beat a two time womens champion in a normal match and if Trish refused she would get the sack and she would go back to the slut storyline with Vince LMAO

Before she won her first womens championship, she showed no sing of any wrestling abilities, so why didn't they bring in new diva's who could wrestle, such as Gail Kim? they cared about the womens division at that time, so why would they give a slut like Trish Stratus a push, when they could get women who could actually wrestle and when she was pushed she was still outwrestled by Molly, Jazz etc and they had to job to her.

Victoria never got anyone with her moonsault and I don't know about Mickie's hurricanrana, but moonsaults are better than hurricanrancas! She was in two hardcore matches with Jackie and when Trish fought Vicoria at Survivor Series, Victoria only debuted about a month before, so she's more impressive than Trish at hardcore matches! Trish was willing to take bumps, so she could make more money, it pays more than being a fitness model. A torn ACL isn't as serious as a broken neck though is it?

Trish's contract already had the amount of money she would get paid so taking bumps or not she still would of been paid the same amount. I think Lita's moonsault is better than Victoria's and obviously a moonsault and a hurricanranna are high flying moves: you have to jump off the top of the turnbuckle to do them. Lita had hardcore matches too and Trish's injuries were nothing compared to Lita's broken neck! Trish made more money wrestling than she did being a fitness model, so I don't think she cared about taking a few risks.

Mickie can do a hurricanranna and she isn't considered a highflyer. Lita was only in one hardcore match with Jackie. Trish was in it to entertain the fans. Why else who someone who has NO wrestling ability be willing to learn and take MAJOR bumps like her and make the female's division matter just like the men's. Oh and a torn ACL is very serious.

@WWETrishMickiefan I think Lita had more determination to put her body on the line than Trish, after all, she did do high flying moves such as, the moonsault and the hurricanrana and I know she sometimes botched the moonsault, but she still had the guts to do it, even after breaking her neck. She returned to wrestling after a year after breaking her neck and I don't think Trish would have done that. Also, in 2001 Trish was Vince Mcmahon's slut, so I thinks that's why she got the title 7 times.

@pcbh168 trish stratus was overrated point blank. she turned out to be a ok wrestler at best. she was just another eye candy diva in the wwe. jazz and lita on the other hand were well accomplished veterans. they wrestled in the indies for years and against each other in ecw. trish stratus isnt even on their level. she was only pushed based on her looks thats it. lita was pushed based on her talent and so was jazz being one of the most dominate womans champions ever. jazz and lita were the best.
