I prefer a 1:5 or 1:3 mix of Tracer/Normal BBs, gives you that nice intermittent tracer effect you see on real guns & doesn't look so much like a LAYZOR!

I play paintball but I definitely want to get into airsoft for the realism. Why don't airsofters wear full face protection ? I've been hit with one at 15 feet in the back and it left a welt , stung like hell . I could imagine getting hit in the face , that would bust a lip

@dafrankfuter Because in milsim games there are minimum engagement distances. For GBB Pistols it's from 10-20ft. Sub Machine Guns are 30-60, rifles are 60-100 and Sniper rifles are 100+ due to their power (Usually some sniper rifles are gauged at like 550fps.)

@dafrankfuter some people do wear paintball masks i dont think you'll get hit from 15 feet away or closer very often i sometimes wear a neoprene mask but if your playing where you'll get hit at closest it doesnt matter

Just as a pointer, you dont want to let that laser get near any NV lense it will destroy it unless you have a LIF filter fitted. But what camera/nv combination was used for the filming it looks like gen 3 or at least gen 2+

That was really cool! I haven't played a night game yet, but I have the G&P clips with the blue LED. Lights up the BB's great. They cost around $30 each, 130 rd mid caps. I also have the JG Aluminator.

there are 3 ways to make a tracer unit for airsoft:

*Silencer tracer unit from TokyoMarui, which costs about 90$

*Led tracer unit and 3in1 HopUp from Madbull, wich costs 65$

*Magazine tracer from G&P, wich actually idk what's it cost.

I have only seen in action the TM tracer, and it really works very well... and give the effect youre shoting real ammo cause the silencer flash on each shot!

look up "AMP full auto tracer unit"...its a replica of the Tokyo Marui version...since Tokyo Marui's new version is so hard to get your hands on because of out of stock/back ordered status AMP works the same as TM...goggle it
