    a BASE model rsx will run you around 8k, an 05-06 rsx type s will run you 14k+

    So please explain to me how the engine swap cost more than an fucking rsx?

    mounts and kpro were where the money was at, i bought both on hondatech for $1100, had the rsx axles fabbed at a local cv shop, and bought a ktuned budget swap header.

    Go complete a kswap yourself, then go to an acura dealer or go hunting on craigslist and compare the 2 prices. BOTTOM LINE you ignorant fucks, a kswap is MUCH cheaper than buying a complete rsx.

  • LOL relax there is no way it will put down 260 with i/h/e kpro. Thats exactly what it is to supposed to be around with RBC, IMG, and 70mm TB they put down from 220-230~. There is no WAY it will ever put down 260-275 unless it was fully built head and than it might be up there. But stop drinking the Exaggeration Juice.

  • If you do own a K then you should be ashamed of yourself cuz you don't know shit about your car. K20a comes with 217/152 stock. YOU know nothing, and YOU should go do some research. Go on any forum with a dyno thread and they will all have around the same hp with those mods. Maybe you should go be a dickface with a zc or d seriers.

  • They are not hitting 225whp unlessthey have cams or mild headwork done. I have 2 friends that have this done and they have both around this power one with 209 and one with 213. But there is no way your friends have hit 225 with I/H/E/Kpro. The most I have seen with I/H/E/Kpro was a car with Hytech headers and it was 219. Just keep digging your self into a deeper and deeper hole, you can't take what you said back so you have to stick with your bullshit story.

  • @p4po im not here to start some argument. but koukiR knows what hes saying. a stock k20a2 will see ~180 to the wheels. to get close to 230whp, you will need a 3" exhaust, probably velocity stack, or just a 3" intake, a bigger header like RCREW or SSR (im not sure), have it tuned on KPRO, and an RBC manifold. that MIGHT be enough to reach about 230whp. some people do add cams, so maybe type-r cams, which are the same as 05-06 type-s cams. my STOCK k20a2 made 184/148 versus yours with only 206/145

  • @p4po well, i cant really say my k20a2 swap is stock, but it basically is with my huge restriction, and if you think of the difference between my cars exhaust, and the RSX-S, and what the DC budget swap header is like when mated to a tiny 00 civic EX exhaust. im also using my CAI from my d16y8, and cut that in half and fit it to the throttle body. if i had a bigger exhaust like Mase from Mase Engineering says, i should have seen 200whp. just saying, you made 22 more hp, and i still made more TQ

  • The LS1 in a a Civic or an LS1 in an F-Body? In a Civic I have no idea as the only one I've seen wasn't at a drag strip but I can guarantee it will run at least 12's. In an F-Body though there has been at least 1 12.9 second run and a crap load of 13 flats. A tuned LS1 in a Miata will run 11's all day every day. This K20 is tuned so that's why I say a tuned LS1 in a Miata. Ls1Willis is right, there are numerous 240s with stock LS1s running mid 12s.
