    And my e-revo goes even faster -.- We all (should) know that Both can be fast, nitro and electric. example: wich is faster, Traxxas jato or Firestorm flux? jato. E-revo brushless or savage x? e-revo.

  • hey everybody, i have a firestorm and am experiencing a really annoying problem, the problem is the access to the low speed needle is blocked by the differential so every time i want to tune the lsn i have to take the entire engine out then tune it. this is really annoying anybody else experiencing this? any ways around it?

  • @gill123i umm yeah, get a flat tip screw driver, and use the corner of it to turn the needle from above the shock tower. (this will kinda tear up the needle, but ive been doing this since i bought it.. by the time it gets bad enough where the needle cant be turned anymore, your engine will be pretty tired from running so much and need rebuilt anyways.

  • You need to lean it out more, its running to rich do a quarter turn clock wise till it runs faster and top end is faster

  • @orjantodd no firestorm is probably the best out there. it may not be the fastest (jato 3.3), but it is by far the toughest and most reliable.

  • @UKairsoft49 yes this is a very quality truck and cheap I'm getting one soon I've seen lots of videos of these I've seen them crash and just drive of like nothing happened I've read lots of reviews everyone says it's great and very durable you should watch some videos and read lots of comments

  • yeah i had the same problem, it wouldnt start for at least an hour! to make it start you need to make sure its acctually on and i made that mistake, next you need to prime it, basicly cover the exhaust and pull the start cord without the glow plug in, pull no more than 3 times, then try start normally, keep trying tht and when it starts just keep revving it so you warm the engine up

  • i need some advice cuz i want to get a 1:4 nitro buggy(specificaly a condor pro).......are they fun enough to keep me entertained or will i get bored......my neighbor has 1 and im jelous

  • @sunfiremyfriend  trust me ..youll wonder why gas runs out so fast... haha but a 1:4 buggy is big to start with ..get a 1:10 , 1:8 or 1:5 if you got lots of money to spend .

  • tighten the rear suspencion some and it will make doing wheelies easier

  • take a ``highway´´ and try to set more and more lean, until the engine shut down at full throttle. when it does that, set it on rich.

  • So when it cuts out at full throttle it means it too lean? Mine cuts out sooo much at full throttle but then when i take a temp gun to see how hot she runs its right around what HPI recommends (250F)

  • my firestorm, to be started i have to turn the throtle trim up but then the wheels turn .. my settings are 1/8 clockwize on high speed and stock on low speed are these settings good?

  • Hey. For those having problems with your car rolling off at idle i think the problem maybe the clutch. I just got my firestorm second hand and it doesnt sit still. If you idle as low as you can with it decently tuned and it still rolls off then try replacing the clutch shoes. Mine are on order at the moment. Will let you know what happens.

  • Your firestorm 10t is not tuned lol. Your running it way to lean so turn it counter clockwise 1/8th an inch at a time. Until there is not as much blue smoke ,and it does not stall out at top speed.

  • if your wanting more imediate power, tighten you clutch spring a bit

  • yeah its rich because you can here it kinda gargle and it should be a smooth sound that is constant

  • you have the "throttle Trim" on the remote. turn it so that it idles, but it does not engage the clutch

  • try adjusting your idle speed, you can do that buy turning the screw ussually under the air filter, it can be found on the carburator.

  • i just buy this yesterday . and i try to start but i wont start.

  • First, if you have a plug wrench, take out the plug and make sure the heating coil is not broken...if you don't have a wrench, no big deal...the plug's probably fine. You NEED TO PRIME the motor. Without the glow starter on, place your finger over the exhaust exit, and pull the starting cable 3 times (keep the back tires off the ground anytime you are pulling the cable). Place the starter on the plug for about 15 seconds, then pull the cable with full, smooth pulls. Should start on 2nd pull.

  • @dawggboy55 actually one correction, you dont want to do full pulls, if you pull the starting cord all the way out when starting your car you can break it a lot faster than if you do quick short pulls, insead of long pulls

  • You should be able to lift the front end of the car off the ground when you give it full throttle, Mine runs best when temp is below 240 degrees, I would say lean it out alittle bit more.
