I've never heard or seen this before. I'm only familiar with a couple of Donny's songs. I had no idea that's what he looked like. And wasn't that the late football great Lyle Alzado?
omg I laughed so hard at this. what great memories grew up in neo and was a regular wdve listener and loyal Donnie fan have seen him many times but one of my favorites was a few yrs ago here in cmh at Easton town cnt outside. he still just rocks the crowd
Bret Michaels of Poison, Reb Beach of Winger, and Bobby Blotzer of RATT have gotten big. Now in eastern Ohio, Marilyn Manson, Jani Lane from Warrant, Maynard from Tool, Michael Stanley, Eric Carmen, Bone Thugs N Harmony, etc.. Man, Cleveland area does rock and you can see the jealousy of the jackoffs in da Burgh.
Nobody EVER gets big being from Pittsburgh no matter how talented they are. Just ask Joe Grushecky...The Clarks...Norm Nardini...Rusted Root...The Gathering Field...Brownie Mary....
damn i didnt know how good he was after this song my dad said he was good but not that good im a true pittsburgh patron and im only 15 but im the only one in my family aside from my dads side that talks like true pennsylvanians ynz dahtahn stcian all that
cool deal darkness! You gotta see him in concert. ha, gotta remember that's true "Western Pa" talk. Guys in Philly don't say yinz... I lived in Pgh for 8 years, the "talk" is cool inat' Does he still play out? Might be at a bar though... Dude, keep rockin w/Donnie You listen to WDVE, right? they did some killer comedy skits w/donnie, funny as hell!
trust me, the ONLY place to see Donnie live is in a crowded bar. I remember this one time, Donnie had to stop talking over the "Here We Go Steelers" cheer.
Great post kpaxfaq, never saw the video before.Check out my post of "Love is like a rock" if you haven't done so.I know I have Sweet Merilee in a tape somewhere.I'll post it when I find it.
My second favorite favorite Donnie Iris song ("Agnes" is number one).

I like this song but don't dig the video too much. It's really not choreographed that well and sort of doesn't fit the song.

In the boxing helmet, he reminds me of Weird Al in White & Nerdy.

Donnie must have had piss poor management, he really should have been much more popular.
