I love this piece! However, it is really sad. Hermione has "lost" the one she loves, and Harry just wanted to cheer her up, because he knows how she feels about Ron.

thats the whole point, it was meant to be a sort of goofy dance, but in reality Daniel is actually a pretty good dancer, its the same sort of thing that they used in GOF it was meant to look sort of awkward.
