very good video and nice explanation.. can i know the difference between paneer and cheese ? how to make cheese ? they tell to add rennet to make cheese in this preparation..
I did not see anything wrong with this video. It plays great all the way to end...please check your own devices since no other users even complained so far...
@SuperVeggieDelight The video quality itself is fine, I think they are referring to the choppy editing. Very informative video, I like how you mention to save the whey for making bread dough.
Hi Sister, i tried this paneer with lime juice but this time it turned out crumbly :(...what could be the reason..please help me...god bless you my sister..
If more lemon juice is added, this may happen, allow it to curdle slowly after adding lime juice and then again add more if needed, and if you want real smooth paneer, add little flour and knead like a dough and then put weight on it...

I haven't made cheese yet. Cheese melts when cooked but paneer doesn't melt, no matter what temperature you cook.

I LOVE paneer, I want to try this but wondering:
Looks like a gallon of fat milk will make only about 8 ounces of paneer?
Does the milk stick to the pan and make it hard to clean up?
How many pieces of cheese cloth are you using to press it?
Can the cheese cloth be reused? Do you wash it or throw it away after use?
SamFem 1 month ago
@SamFem
HI
Gallon of milk makes paneer for almost 8-10 people
If you keep stirring, and if you take heavey bottomed (nonstick can be used), it won't stick.
I take only one cheese cloth but place them in several layers by folding.
It doesn't spoil cheese cloth much so I just wash and reuse.
