  • amateur videos can be basically cut chopped edited and manipulated however the person creating it chooses.my assessment is the coin has a slight but noticeable pendulum swing as if it were on nylon thread, also the anchor point on the coin is not square to the emblem which tells me slight miscalculation, the lighting and the shadow of the coin on the hand at the end is also curious, apart from that dont know, good trick. i wonder how magicians would act if they truly did posses these powers, hmmm

  • @jamoxesox Thank you, great comment! My editing skills aren't good enough yet to do CGI, so everything was filmed as it appeared while doing it. I also liked your last comment. There's an old joke about the magician who got REAL powers!!! So, he went out and REALLY linked the rings, and REALLY made the rabbit appear in the hat etc. :-)

  • Well CGI would be a valid claim, however relevant to this video considering your video on how to "Levitate small objects" were some relatively quality video editing was achieved...but if you can do it close up, more power to you, i don;t ever doubt anyone until i see them eff it up in person.

  • LOOK at 0'45

  • idk if its just me but after he says if there are any doubts...(you see the quarter) the quarter looks really fake

  • man that was the best effect of its kind that have evere seen in all my 17 years of magic!one word wow!!!

oh and will this be for sale on any magic market!?

  • i see the fucking string!!!

  • STRING DUD.

  • u didnt put ur fingers acros the coin

  • i saw thee little string and the wax

  • ala esta chilero pero como lo ases ala desime porfa

  • you didn't use cg huh well thats a load of cow shit covered in dead rotting cow shit flies with a load of facts (and fuck ups)

  • The first part looks suspiciously like you've just reversed the footage of a spinning coin falling down.

  • quite impressive :) glad i watched.

  • ILIMUNATI!!

  • how do u do it?

  • camera trick !!!! stupid !!!!!!

  • hey is the dimmer switch real?

  • A VER?

  • you suck all you do is fake gay shit

  • @sk8boardn101 all magic tricks are fake dumb fuck, its called an illusion

  • @asZskicker666 no shit sherlock, i ment that you could perform whenever you want wherever you want, not dumb strings. there are better tricks where u dont need strings

  • Very nice!

  • Holy crap! that is one of the most freakish, but cool levitations ever!!!!!!

  • typical magicians invisible thread. he never went all the way on top of the coin through entire video. he even had the right camera angle when he looked like he went over it, but you cant tell exactly how far he went because of the angle.

  • i would like to see that in real life

  • awesome vid man nice levitation

  • I'd like to see the hand move all the way around the coin instead of close and away. In comparison to your other video with your son and his "jetpack", I think you have a knack for editing strings out of the video. Clearly not CGI.

  • Thanks!

I'm happy to say that in the case of this video, nothing was edited out (beyond choosing the best angles/shots), and it is something that can be done live, though it's tricky... I did a VERSION of this for several years at close-up magic shows. Come to think of it, I'm not sure why I stopped! :-)

    Thanks again!

  • fucking voodoo guy.

  • Hey man, awesome video, awesome tricks... It must be such a compliment to you with all these people accusing you of CGI. Got my sub and 5 stars :D

    Great Vid.

  • Thanks SO much! AND, thank you for telling me to look at those who claim it's CGI as a compliment! I was a little frusterated that people thought it was CGI, but you've given me a way to see that as a plus!

    Thanks again!

  • nice, I've just started posting vids, Hopefully I'll get some accusations too :)

  • haha, Walt is the best......

  • so fake!

  • Excellent illusion!

  • animation -.-' look at 1:05, when it covers his hand.

  • There is no CGI at all in the video, and I've performed versions of this live... I'm not sure what I could have done (short of the fact I grabbed the coin out of the air) to show it was real? Thanks for your comments though!

  • it is so obvious that the coin is fake, it is computer generated

  • you can see the hole in the coin in the middle of 1993

  • that was sooooooooooooo damn fake!!

  • wow are u that dumb? your not even looking at the fuckin coin smart guy.......

  • hey, i really am into magic and levitation..Can u teach me...Or cai give u my email n plz tell me, i wanna know a way to cotact you.

  • Absolutely no computer animation is used. (I don't even know how to do it. :-)

    Thanks though!

  • dude, the freakin coin is animation

  • how do you do that??

  • no shit it fake and there stringrichie but look the way he does it so good i give u some string and give it a go

  • there is a string on top

  • i think it was ok,yes there were some little details but looks beautiful, nice work.Especially because there are not too many levitations with coins, people keep asking me about that.Good job

  • ``tell me how!!!!!plzzzz

  • lol its fake, the coin at the end gives it away a little, but still funny.

  • This might be fake, but i assure you that it can be done. Come take a look at my profile to see what magic looks like...

  • niceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! :D it involved another man isn't it?

  • It can be done solo (I was the only one taping it and performing it here).

But, it would be slightly cleaner if you had a helper. :-) Thanks!

  • Great Job!!!

  • that was c.g

  • nice program you can tell at end thet the coin is fake

  • when are you going to make a REAL magic trick video?

  • how do u do that

  • fuck this, we're all just looking into doing trick to do around the house, not this, cheap ass camera tricks

  • I keep saying this, but no one belives me... The only camera trick was that I didn't show the 6 times I dropped it while learning it. The method is the same as UFO, just a different hook up! Hope that helps!

  • haha thanks for replying, explain how to do the trick @ 31sec?

  • It's the same method mentioned.

UFO, floating bill and floating rose all do the same basic thing, all I added was the spin! (UFO does the spin too of course.)

  • looks computer animated

  • you can see the shadow of the coin on his finger when it zooms in and slows down. His hand never passes the coin, the shadow of the coin never goes past his thumb. He uses string like every one else

  • ur a .. u didnt even go over the coin

it is on invisible string to the roof and it spun...wheres ur ova hand'

  • i dont know am i stupid but how do you do that? :D

  • haha i know how to do that but its wery , wery nice :D

  • Thanks! Yes, the method isn't too tricky for a magician, but I thought it looked nice too!

  • LOL, im sure that this took alot of time, and this sucks so hard... FAKE. graphic

  • No video tricks with the coin. Total time to make, about 3 hours. Can be done live.

    Thanks!

  • he made it look as if the hands were going over the coin... they were slightly behind it

  • you can clearly tell when they do a close up that the coin is fake

  • Well...... The reason I worked so hard to get very close up (multiple angles) was to make sure you could tell the coin was real on youtube.

It's funny that no one believes me, but as I said, I'll take that as a compliment. The coin is real, and this can be done live....

    Thanks for your comment!

  • im very sorry but it looks computerized

  • Well, I'll take that as a compliment, since it looks that weird!

The truth is, I wouldn't even know how to do something like this using a computer.

    Thanks!

  • well you certently know how to edit a video with different camera angels

  • it looks like computer graphic like crazy!@

  • No computer graphics, and it can be done live.

The biggest camera trick is that I didn't show the 6 times I blew it. :-)

But that why it says "learning." Thanks!

  • pleas post a tutorial pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase

  • Look into floating bill by Mike Ammar or Floating Rose by Kevin James for the basic method. :-) Goodluck!

  • 1:09 to 1:11 there is a shadow on his hand the coin did not go throw his hand

  • @nategrier2003 yeah,,,and the other one,,,it not go through his hands....

  • another concern is why the candle was at your boob height then it was below your waste???? please explain?

  • (i thought it was wicked good stuff) only thing i can debate is 0:49 looked like a synced vid kicked in and you caught it perfectly facing camera and lighting changes and cam adjusts got to look very hard (try the bush in background) if you want to put me in my place im more than willing to eat my words.

  • If I had to guess... Like, two M5s? Or two Ravens, but I don't think Ravens would be powerful enough. Hmm...

  • Eh, watching it again I might take that comment back.

  • Woah, CGI

  • Thanks! But no CGI. Can be done live.

    Thanks again.

  • I'm just open minded to whether it could be CGI, and as Einstein said 'condemnation without investigation is the highest form of ignorance' and I just wanted to provoke a response, and look, I got one !)

  • fuckin dummass.learn to do magic without editing

  • Just because you can't figure it out, don't assume that it's edited.

  • Excellent editing : )

  • can you show us how to do the levitations

  • can u guys see the coin when vanish?? its fake..look at the vedeo in 58sc..He put the coin in his right hand!!

  • Do you really need to comment that it is fake? Everyone knows its fake. Its not like someone can actually make a coin disapear...

  • nice costume

  • CGI

  • ok regaurdless if it were edited, you should check out the shadows

if his hands went past the half dollar, then the shadow would be behind the hand not on it

  • And for all of you out there that believed this guy... YOU'RE ALL FUCKING DUMBASSES!!!

  • um, yeh, this is fake... on the first part where he makes it flip up and start spinning, all he did was spin it, let it drop, pick it up, and then reverse the vid. As for the floating coin, he just moved his hands around as if something was there and edited it in after wards, i suggest that this guy does something that doesn't involve editing the vid, i know ALL MAGICIANS DO IT, but some of their stuff is performed in front of an audience, LIVE!

  • ok barly any magicians use camera editing. We hate that. There are some no doubt. but not very many. Just because you can't figure it out, don't assume that it's edited.

  • The effect can be done without editing.

I wanted the coin to really show up youtube sized screen, so I got as close as I could from as many angles as possible.

The coin is real and the effect done live. The only "camera trick" was that I didn't show the times I blew it while practicing. And, there were quite a few of those. :-)

  • wait. Why did you reply to me? I know it's not edited, I just said that.

  • Ooops! Sorry! I clicked on the wrong reply!

    Thanks for your comments!!!!

  • my grandma can do that.

  • cool your the real deal

  • Nice animation.

  • However its done (editing effects, real magic xD) I'd like to be able to create such a vid :D

  • animation kicks but

  • i need to learn how to do this for my act

  • Damn it, I changed my mind again...LMAO ((I am seriously clowning myself here)) I do not want to make anyone think you edited this, because that was a complete moronic mistake on my behalf. I rendered the wrong video..lol I did check your and it is clear that there is no editing to suggest anything against your claim. I am sorry!!! I will leave you alone now. lol

  • ((Veracity43's wife. He is not allowed to send 3 comments in a row I guess, so I'm posting it for him)) Oh man Noonco.. You just let me down brother... I rendered the video and found obvious Pixelation flaws on the coin. Not a good magician, but a good video editor! Still fun to watch

  • Then again after watching it 10 more times, there are certain attributes to the movement that discredits my opinion. First, the wobbling prior to the coin standing on its edge. No matter how tightly wound (and you can not wind floater filament very tightly at all without it breaking) this would not be the result. You got me Noonco. I like this a lot. No doubt it's an elevated suspension, but how... You win!

  • It's not animation. He is extremely good! The genius in performing this convincingly is making even yourself believe that it is really happening. Your expression and where you look draws attention to where you want it. I am not sure, but if I had to guess, I would say a basic floating filament (very very thin yet strong line) was connected, wound and strung through an eye-hook above him. When lifted, it unwinds creating a spinning effect. Notice you are unable to see above him. Great job Noonco!

  • how did he do that????

  • That was cool. I would want to see someone do this by a fireplace in a castle or some other cool setting. It was realy mystical. I like the begining the best.

(but you shouldn't sell it like you are going to reveal a trick, or like a new gimmick. That just makes people mad. But if you leave it at "A levitation I am learning, then people are all to happy to engage in a willing suspention of disbelief, and that is pleasant. )

  • Thanks! Very good advice. I'll change the name right now!

    Thank you again.

I wish I had a castle to perform in. :-)

  • You can perform in a Castle. The Magic Castle in Hollywood pays performers like $700. You have a dynamic persona and good performance. That is 80% of a good show, really. Develop sleight of hand, create a routine, video it and send it in. Who knows you could make your wish a reality.

  • Shit, como lo hace... Mierda, how he do it?

  • Shit, como lo hace... Mierda, how he do it?

  • he didnt show it cuz its fucking graphic effects focus at the end of the video you will see what i mean!

  • i agree with bluegirl1818 i fucking didnt learn shit. i thought it was gonna show how to do that cool trick :/

  • Looks like animation, you can tell from the shadow casted on his hand, you can tell its cgi. Maybe done on something like 3d max? I don't know, still it could just be the way the camera is focused.

  • that was pretty kool

  • mmmmmmhhhhhh

  • pc montage

  • mabey it was animated

  • ALL OV U R STUPID BE SIDES ASTRO6000 it imageing

  • dude it says learning a trick. I didnt learn anything

  • theres a string attached to the ceiling and the coin and the other part of the string goes from the ceiling to his hand. when he spins his hand the string does too, making the coin spin also. when he showed the part where he took his hands and did the lame "hands over the coin" he only put his hands very close to the coin, but not exactly above it cuz the string is still attached to the coin. look at the shadows.

thats how its done. really lame in my opinion.

  • it is not you it is the table

  • ok but even if your title says learning a levitation im not learning shit other then you doing it

  • Hmm...

looks like some computer effects were used...??

  • computer affects idiot

  • Yes it think also .. But good job.. nice effects :O

  • Dude (chrizoni), you don't use computer effects on tricks like this. Editing (cutting out bad takes) and close-up magic 'gimmicks' are needed/used. YOUR guess was wrong. Your guess was just as smart as the so-called "idiot" posts.

  • your a lier its fake i can tell dumb

  • one word illusion

  • he didn't even truly put his hands around it. it's obvious it's hanging from a string. lol

  • U HOMO RAPIST

  • dude your either possessed or that was a fake trick my gues is that was fake

  • you say he did a "fake trick". what is the difference between a fake trick and a real trick??

I Think Really, he did a great presentation!

  • its a program like fxhome its not real its fake i saw

  • sorry dude, but that coin looks rly rly rly fake.

  • it's so fake. if u look at the shadow when he first starts to make the coin float u see the shadow on his hand as if a light was right above him, but if u look at his shirt the light seems to be coming from the right.

  • Just to quickly let everyone know, the coin is real. NO computer work, and this can be done live. (I'm not clever enough to make a 3D computer coin. :-)

    Thanks!

  • it looked pretty fake to me

i need more proof or an explanation.

  • I used the same basic method as all other light floats magicians do....

  • it looks fake.

  • PWNIN trick! Even though the coin is just a 3 simulation but still.

  • 3 simulation? you mean 3d?...

  • yeah =P. Still its pretty easy. A cylinder, texture and bump map.

  • Dude come on anyone can see how fake that coin is

  • This trick is not real, it is processed at the computer!

  • still it looks cool :)

  • lmfao people are like

    'omfg fake!!!!11!!!111!!!'

well, do you really expect someone to actually levitate something?

its called an illusion for a reason

  • lol when he made a square with his hands he didnt even pass the coin

  • it looks fake

  • you a big fake man

  • u can use simple stuff like put a green screen.

and u just add the background as a coin.

  • at the end the coin moves forwards when ur hand came forward. u never completely put ur hand over it... i think theres a string

  • after the part when u say " if there are any doubts" your hand doesnt completely go over the coin

  • i hat when people say learn a trick

but nver show you and tell you

    have to order somthing

  • it's something called tesla's egg of columbus...

you can find it on google

  • thats cool and all but uhhh, HOW THE HELL DO U DO IT?!?!?

  • freaking animation dude!!

  • Beautiful handling!!!

  • that coin looks digital

  • please,it is oviusly that a magician with experience know it,it is invisible thread and one of the thousands methods to disapear a coin..

  • lol you have a cheat coin with an invisible thread in when you make a triangle with your finger, you are not through wanker we can see the shadow -.-

  • The perspective can be noticed when you focus on shadows - see the shadow of his right index finger, that should give you the clue of the position of light source and then compare it to the coin shadow - the coin is still in front of the hands... Indeed a nice trick with invisible thread...

  • it was simple he just had a thread from the ceeling and didn't ever acutally put his hand over it he just used perspective

  • damn ass!
