  • Hey hello, where can i get the bluetooth hardware, or what is the name of the hardware bluetooth that u have connected to the protoboard

  • witch bluetooth are you using bluetooth mate gold or bluetooth mate silver

  • Nice video. I intend to work on a similar project but have a few doubts. I can see that u can easily send message/data to your arduino in this set up. In my project, i need to do the opposite. I need to send data/event from Arduino to my android phone. Say i have my own button-circuit attached to arduino and whenever i put push the button ON, it should trigger my particular app in Android. is it possible. Please reply. I'm planning to go for Arduino UNO or Arduino Dueminalove.

  • This would be kwl to like adjust ceiling fan speed while laying in

  • This would be kwl to turn th

  • do you know how one can do this if they have a USB Host Shield,Bluetooth Dongle, and an Arduino Duemilanove...?

  • How is the range with the BT?

  • We use the same module at daisyworks. I just posted some Bluetooth range observations for the same module. I was able to get the range up to ~400 feet with an inexpensive ~$5 mod. Check in our forum for the full article and pictures of the mod.

  • Can you share you're code perhaps? :)

  • Hey , nice, Can you give me a link to find the source code of this sample app.I'm trying to find something like that and build upon it.

  • @LeManlan Found code on a website called Pocket Magic. That site provided an Eclipse project which set up some basic Bluetooth communication. I just went in and hacked it to do what I wanted.

  • hi, im interested in this project, i need to know - which version of arduino r u using? your conection with the blusmirf is through serial port? thnx for your help and keep going ;)

  • @jalargot I am using an Arduino Duemilanove. The bluesmirf is connected to the arduino through the tx and rx pins. The communication between the phone and the bluesmirf is serial.

  • really cool! Thinking about getting the Arduino BT (Bluetooth) to play around with

  • Where did you get that bluetooth board? If you could provide a link to it's page from where you got it that would be awesome!

  • @ohiojoeblow

you will find the bluesmirf from this website

    sparkfun dot com

  • Awesome!
