This is a great cartoon. But she never actually went to an office and asked to become a conductor. You didn't ask to be one, you would just stay on the trail and help people, you never were like "declared" a conductor.
unfortunately history does not often tell us that the north and yanks were as racist and in some cases more than they were in dixie. most of the slave traders initially were shippers from northern states. Great and admirable woman though
very nice, but racism exhited just as much, and in some cases more in the north. Slavery was wrong, but so is constantly trying to demonize the south. Several southerners did not beleive in slavery and thought it was outdated

Sister Harriet Tubman set off when she brought so many of our people back into the Promise Land.
She's a remarkable woman who nursed, cared and had a great faith who didn't give up in bringing African people back into safety.
Sister Harriet was doing her secret missions while the enemy wasn't looking.
She's a great hero of my history.

Harriet Tubman..too many words to explain but she is an amazing woman. She still teaches us things today. We will always remember her. =]
