Sting has done this move for years. He didn't do it wrong because he doesn't know how. It had a lot to do with how AJ picked him up. When he reversed it, AJ was too high. So people associate him with the tombstone. But many wrestlers have used this move but they dont all look like the way Undertakers does. Sting used this move before Tker did in the late 80s in NWA, but Taker's is far better, but only because its not one of Sting's regular moves like a splash or deathlock, with those moves Sting is better at them than most any wrestler.

Their head is not ment to hit the ground in any piledriver it is simply for the show. If it did hit the ground they would be dead or paralysed like at SummerSlam '97 where Austin's head slipped when Owen Hart gave him the sitting tombstone. The undertaker and Kane do the tombstone so the reciever's head never touches the ground if you look closley. Look at tombstone tribute videos. There was only one real tombstone and it was Owens to Austin at SummerSlam '97 but now its banned.
