"first by inflation and then by deflation," The Fed creates bubbles through the use of inflation by lowering Interest rates, then pops them in order to strip the money from the people through the use of deflation by restricting credit.

When it comes to the Military though, that should stay under the control of central government because that is the number one job of Government, to protect the people. Has anybody investigated the story about the Blackwater employees - Kenneth Wayne Cashwell and William Ellsworth who early this year plead guilty to 'possession of stolen firearms' and 'aided and abetted another of doing the same'. The way it reads, in the "The News & Observer of Raleigh" is that these guys essentialy financed a terrorest organization with our tax dollars and they got slap on the wrist so far.
