God created people in his own image and earnestly seeks a relationship with mankind. God is holy and when we are given the choice of Him or sin... we all choose sin. So, God in his grace and mercy chose to lavish his love on us and gave us his only son, Jesus who is the Christ. Since we are all sinners we all need a savior and God shows us the savior is Christ Jesus. Throught the holy bible we find out what God is thinking toward his creation. Turns out he loves us and wants us to choose him.
The Bible reveals God's intentions towards us. It can seemed, to me to be incomprehensible, but in a state of unbelief, I asked the empty sky, that if there was a God, would He please reveal Himself to me? Later, at a single moment in time I was moved from unbelief to faith, and it was He who revealed Himself to me.
That was over 35yrs ago.
Jer 29:13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
What happened? I recieved life!! I once was dead, and now I live, yet not I but Christ which liveth in me. His faithful Comforter abides with, to lead, to teach, to correct and to Comfort. I learn to surrender my life and Trust Him. Every day is a precious adventure, through it all (the good the bad and yes the ugly) I'm learning to trust and obey and let my little light shine!
