A comment that someone made below "If there were no humans, war wouldn't exist." - The question arises time and again in philosophical circles, and in many of the sciences, both social and technical... there are a few things that are agreed upon, one of them is that very statement. No other thing in nature deliberately goes to war. Yes, there is fighting, squaring away of territories. But, not war as we know it. That is one distinctly human trait. This movie is excellent. I highly recommend it.
@lokenovez I would be the last person defending religion but your wrong. If there were no human's war wouldn't exist. Human beings will find any reason to go to war, that is the sad and unfortunate reality.
Sorry to say that your assumption is wrong. I'm a christian arab who's living in Israel, and every christian or muslim arabs that i met, have a family members who have been expelled from thier place, including me.
I don't have problem with the right of jews to establish a state, i have a problem with the fact that they don't respect other's right, to keep thier homes, until now.
@caroljer I can understand your point or view, coz my grand mother have been expelled from algeria. Our ancesters are a mix of hebrews and local berber population, and we are arabic and french speakers. War is terrible! Local christians are muslim should have the right to go back to their and and live in peace with jews. Isreal should not be a 100% jewish state, but a 100% Semitic state including other minorities.
We do not wish, we do not need to expel the Arabs and take their place. All our aspirations are built upon the assumption — proven throughout all our activity in the Land — that there is enough room in the country for ourselves and the Arabs. * Letter to his son Amos (5 October 1937), as quoted in Shabtai Teveth, Ben Gurion: The Burning Ground. This has been extensively misquoted as...Well, what you see.
