@millaydee1 hi millydee1 have them too but i dont know how either to post, but im 68 and i can sure remember them so i can request a lot have a nice day, were so lucky to have some great uploaders thank you all
This sings me back home. We had a neighbor who was from Tennessee and sounded like "Mom" Everly. I loved to hear her talk and was always happy when she would visit. Thanks for posting this sweet video. *****.
They do sing me back home, the home of music !! i wasnt born in any year for them [1990s is as late as hell !] but this sound, Everly sound, is always so new and fresh to me. Just love this song and the whole album !!!
there are no words to describe just how i feel about the everly brothers. no singer or singers have ever made me feel the way they make me feel when i hear their sweet voices. thank you don and phil for bringing us so much joy.
If any body can sing me back home, it is Don and Phil Everly! I hope they have heroes in their lives who make them feel the way they, and their music, make us feel.
This is a priceless treasure; their mother Margaret has the identical speaking voice as baby boy phil....sweet, high and angelic. Is that their mom singing with Don in the beginning; not sure if it is Mom or Phil.
This song is on my favourite album of the Ev's called Roots. And if you look up Jason Everly on YouTube, you will see him with Donna Cruz, on a few clips and interviews. He now runs a music business making and supplying musical items, particularly for guitars, like strings, picks, etc. Phil set it up and runs it with him. Both have lovely voices, and, of course does Don. I fell in love with them when I was 11, and it's a love affair that has never ended for me. Rock on!!! Thanks for posting!
Hey Everly Bros cool Phil! Never heard this one...Did you know Phil Everly's son Jason Everly was popular in the Philippines around 1996-1997...Even cut some tagalog songs and made a teenybopper movie with a Singer/Actress named Donna Cruz...I don't know if there is a video on youtube but the song is called "Wish"...
I have all their albums but i don't know how to do any of this. HELP.

@lettermen1..did they ever do a Gospel album? I wd love to hear more. They sound good at everything they do!
estelle715 2 years ago
No, I don't believe they ever did, I guess their Christmas album ( very rare now!) would be the closest to gospel.
