The "Legacy of the Force" series was refreshing to say the least. Jacen was an amazing multi-dimensional character, as opposed to pretty much the rest of the cast... I wish he would have survived somehow, gone into exile or something... A free electron in other words.

Jancen Solo was the only Jedi of his generation that tried to study the Force beyond its basic tenets. What truly burns me about his death is how I saw it coming 15 or so years ago when I realized the solos had twins. I shook my head and said "one of them is going to go to the darkside and the twins will fight each other" I hoped it would not be Jancen. He was, of all the characters, the only one I thought might be able to become the Greatest Jedi Master of his time and take up Luke's mantle.

But the thing is, those ba**ard Jedi brainwashed him and gave him a new identity, it wasn't really him until the end and by that time, he had sort of grown into the whole thing. If they hadn't used the brainwashing technique, he wouldn't have turned, he wouldn't, he was meaner than Malak (why he was the master).

I too was surprised that Ship didn't seek Jacen. What happened, though, was that the Dark Jedi Alema Rar took possession of it. In "Fury," when Jaina, Jag, and Zekk were going after Alema in Lumiya's asteroid home, Zekk drew upon the dark side to set Ship free from Alema. Zekk was corrupted briefly but soon came back to his senses. Ship then wandered about freely before being summoned by the One Sith. But Ship went to the Lost Tribe instead (as seen in "Fate of the Jedi").

he has alot of powers..he can time travel ( flow walk), like he can project himself into the futre too and visit the past hear from great distances, has every single power that other jedis and siths have but at leats 100 times more powerful like, lightning choking and stuff....he can also go invisable and hide like, jedis and siths can all sence eachother in the force but he can cut himself off from that....also he cant feel pain...and heaps of other things

Neither Bane nor Revan ruled an empire. Caedus' goal was to unite the galaxy not conquer it. The arguement could be made that Caedus was never truly Sith, much like Kreia once said of Revan.

I too was surprised that Ship didn't seek Jacen. What happened, though, was that the Dark Jedi Alema Rar took possession of it. In "Fury," when Jaina, Jag, and Zekk were going after Alema in Lumiya's asteroid home, Zekk drew upon the dark side to set Ship free from Alema. Zekk was corrupted briefly but soon came back to his senses. Ship then wandered about freely before being summoned by the One Sith. But Ship went to the Lost Tribe instead (as seen in "Fate of the Jedi").

he has alot of powers..he can time travel ( flow walk), like he can project himself into the futre too and visit the past hear from great distances, has every single power that other jedis and siths have but at leats 100 times more powerful like, lightning choking and stuff....he can also go invisable and hide like, jedis and siths can all sence eachother in the force but he can cut himself off from that....also he cant feel pain...and heaps of other things

covered it pretty well, but he can feel pain, however he greets it as "an old friend" something (not sure how to spell it) vergre? the yuuzhan vong/jedi/sith lady taught him on his five year captivity/trip with them. So he feels pain, but is impervious to it, and can get past it, i mean he does scream when jiana cuts his arm off... i love this sieres, anyone with me, its just cool to see evil, but in a way thats not entirely evil. He was doing the wrong thing for all the right reasons...

Neither Bane nor Revan ruled an empire. Caedus' goal was to unite the galaxy not conquer it. The arguement could be made that Caedus was never truly Sith, much like Kreia once said of Revan.

well yeah, that's pretty much what I meant. As far as being true Sith, I simply meant that they acted in the best interests of the galaxy as opposed to for selfish goals as virtually all Sith do. So yes they were true Sith in action, just not so much at heart.

Caedus's goal of balance was brought. through his rise to the sith he united the entire galaxy against one common foe. Even those who once worshipped the sith were against him. His death was nessissary to secure the peace he wanted, and I personnaly believe he very well knew that. So dont believe he tossed it all away as you think. He simply took the only route left to secure the peace. Remember he could have defended against Jaina further in the end, but he chose not to so he could save Allana

Remember the 'Light Man' is not always your enemy for it is ultimately that form that leads you to the man you become. Never completely discard what you once were for in doing that you leave the weakness to be fully consumed and crush all you swore to protect even yourself. There is nothing wrong in a sith finding power in the light just as well as the darkness Lord Darkehorse. The light man does not have to die as you believe... simply hold it near death to hold all universal aspects offered.

This was where LotF failed. Why the Jedi didn't try to safe him? Luke saved Vader, surely Caedus was not that bad. And he offered redemption to Kueller, much fouler enemy. The Jedi were cruel to Jacen and I am happy that Darth Krayt punished them. They must learn that cruelty and intolerance are not the way of good.
