Its funny everyone thinks like "Gangerster" does, but really a black smoke belching diesel is still not as bad for us as a gas car is.

in the i think its 2005+ duramax's the automatic tranny comes with a manual 6 speed on the colum, that you can use for towing, so you can thumb your way through the gears without the tranny shifting if you want more rpm's

bull shit. you just manually control the shift points. The automatic transmission on my CHEVY silverado shifts at 5700 rpm when i put the pedal down. If i had the optional (and rare) manual trans, i could redline the engine if i wanted to, but that would only give me another 150 rpm.
