What i really hate on ICS is that it doesn't have any "shortcuts" in the notification bar other than the settings button...i would like to see some customisation for the notification bar like on CM7 ,where you can putt icons for GPS,Display brightness,WIFI on/off,3G/data on/off ... and so on... Frankly,the system feels a bit cluttered at times and not so accessible as one might think.It is beautiful but something feels off.I went back to Gingerbread 2.3.7 (it runs way faster too ;) ) CM7.2 ROM

Android 4.0 and the device Samsung Galaxy Nexus both struck as a disappointment to me. I've seen reviews around (there aren't much right now), and they pointed out the lag (that has been there on the Android since the first time it was released) as one of the problem with the new OS apart from some other. I own an iPhone 3GS, and I wanted to try Android as my next device, had hopes for ICS, but it looks more of a disappointment.

@Asrar29 yes I agree. I own a Samsung Galaxy S, and experienced a huge technical jump from the Euclid to Froyo Update, so I expected a bigger jump into the ICS update. However, note that the ICS is still in development right now, so the lags may still be there. But I expect the OS system will surpass our expectations by the time the Galaxy Nexus is released :)

No disrespect, but a big ideology with android 4.0 was to do away with menus on top of every application. They instead introduced swiping motions and accessible but on obtrusive software buttons already present on each screen. I believe they are trying to irradiate the necessity to dig and dig through menus to find features. They instead are striving to making that aspect of the user interface more intuitive, aesthetically appealing and elegant.

/it is not fair to compare it galaxy S2, since it has to drive a lot more pixels (1280 x 720 vs 800 x 480). For a fair comparison, wait until the Galaxy S3, which will have a much better samsung designed GPU and will sport a HD screen.

@MultiGeekster 5 mp camera has 1080p recording as well. and has zero shutter lag. galaxy s2 doesnt have that. this also has a bigger screen which is 720x1280 pixels in resolution ! and its stock ice cream sandwich !!!!! just the same processor and ram. looks sexier than galaxy s2 though
