I like them both but overall,I think Kirk's better.Not musically..but at least he doesn't have the anger & addiction problems Dave had.Musically,riffs aren't really Kirk's thing..but he can come up with some ass kicking solos.Dave's riffs are cool but not always,as well as his solos.There should be a certain logic behind the riffs & solos that Dave's missing.Though Dave deserve LOTS of credit for being able to play his complicated stuff WHILE singing..something Kirk can't do at all.

Megadeth wishes they were Metallica. At least almost all of Tallica's songs are worth listening to. there is like 2 songs per album that are any good with megadeth.
And at least James doesnt sound like hes on helium when he sings. there was a reason dave never sang when he was with metallica.

kirk isnt better than dave. dave is much better kirk just cant play with his wah wah and he plays more melodic solos.
dave is very fast.
also dave has write the 9/10(+++) of the songs of megadeth.
kirk didnt even write 1/10 of metallicas songs

I like them both but overall,I think Kirk's better.Not musically..but at least he doesn't have the anger & addiction problems Dave had.Musically,riffs aren't really Kirk's thing..but he can come up with some ass kicking solos.Dave's riffs are cool but not always,as well as his solos.There should be a certain logic behind the riffs & solos that Dave's missing.Though Dave deserve LOTS of credit for being able to play his complicated stuff WHILE singing..something Kirk can't do at all.

dave wrote bout every solo on KEA and hell listen to dave's solo he did for Ride the Lightning. KIRK BLOWS NUTS compared to dave. u could pick up a guitar today and nail every solo from kirk in as little as 4-6 months good luck tryng that on mustaines hell it took me 2 years of playing just to even try to keep up with poison was the cure's riff. let alone the song in general
