Hands down the Canucks are the more skilled if not most skilled team in the League, but grit wins the Cup and the Bruins had more of that.

As a Canuck fan it makes me sad we lost but we did lose to a better team and well.... we can make it again next year because we didn't lose anyone special in the offseason (Ehrhoff was our 4th best dman in the playoffs... -13 and we are the best scoring team in the league so losing one player won't hurt that much)

if only the nhl was reffed the same way for every team. This is the new nhl era not supposed to get away with two hands to people behind the play or to star players. If the finals was reffed the way the new nhl is supposed to be its a different series. The Rome Hit come on half a second late in the fastest sport in the world. And u suspend the guy for the whole finals?? the biggest suspension in finals history?? for a half a second late it shouldn't even have been a penalty.

@revy420 90% of Canucks fans were happy with the suspension. Rome was useless. The only games the refs could have made a difference on were the ones the Canucks won. 8-1, 4-0, 5-2, 4-0,. Wasn't even close, don't blame the refs for not calling a penalty, blame the coach for not calling a practice.

bud if you know anything about hockey game 7 isn't choking, choking would be the bruins in the 09/10 playoffs against Philadelphia when they were up 3-0 in the series and losing 4-3 and in the game 7 against philly they had a 3-0 lead and philly stormed back with 4 goals now thats what i call choking!!!!!!!!!!

@sahebsandhu So throwing out the comment about if I know anything about hockey makes you sound like your smart but if you look at the 7 games series which the Canucks were up 2-0 and got blown out in games 3 & 4, were up 3-2 and again didnt play well in the game 6 and then in game 7 to get shutout...is pretty the defn of a choke job, don't you think? Everytime they had the chance to really close out the Bruins, they didnt. = CHOKE!

Funny thing is, as much as this stuff is better than NBC, the actual game production by NBC is equally as good as CBC IMO. Emrick and Hughson are both amazing, Edzo is better than Simpson and McGuire is better than Healy IMO. Also, Keith Jones is better than any of CBC's studio analysts (especially the same old same old from Cherry every night).

However, this is the one thing that CBC still does an amazing job on. Great opening for the Stanley Cup Final.
