Like when you first start out watching the series you think Kikyo is a bastard. Then you see her final death which is kinda hard not to cry and watch. And it's like, I hate her, but her death was so pure and unforgettable. Seriously I tried very hard not to cry.

Anybody can see it in Final Act 18th episode and in 26th episode they talk about it what could wish Kikyo when she dead.

I never liked Kikio. There were times I wish she was dead. But at this scene, I nearly cried, and I hav only cried once over anime (it was ful moon wo sagashite, when Echi died).
I never cared for Kikyou, just didn't like her, but when this scene came, I couldn't help but felt something inside of me break for her. I've been watching this show since I was 8. So... it still hurts to see any characters go.

I don't understand why this fandom erupts into arguments over who's better between Kikyo and Kagome. I adore them both. Kikyo is easily my favourite female in this anime, but that doesn't mean I hate Kagome. I think Kikyo knows she can't be with InuYasha and, despite how much it pains her, has come to accept it. If someone you loved just passed away, like...right now, would you be able to be all normal like five seconds after? And Kagome knew it was a kiss, and she didn't care. Seems like now Kagome is Inuyasha's default now because if Kikyo hadn't died hed probably still be trying to protect her and would've been torn between the two. Im sorry but me personally I'd like to be someone's first choice. Oh well it is what it is in the end they're together and they're happy so thats what counts =)

I don't understand why this fandom erupts into arguments over who's better between Kikyo and Kagome. I adore them both. Kikyo is easily my favourite female in this anime, but that doesn't mean I hate Kagome. I think Kikyo knows she can't be with InuYasha and, despite how much it pains her, has come to accept it. If anything, I dislike InuYasha because he's so indesicive when it comes to them. If Kikyo and Kagome could develop their relationship into a friendship, I think it would work well <3

Oh my god. I understand. I used to hate Kikiyo to. BUT to fully understand, you must watch ALL of the Final Act episodes up the this one. Kikiyo changed her ways. She still envied Kagome and Inuyahsa, But did not intended to kill him anymore. She actually saved, healed and helped them! DAMN. - And she was kind to Kagome. Kagome trued to heal Kikiyo.

Honestly I hate Kikyo and I'm glad she died.First of all, she was already dead and, secondly, Inuyasha and Kagome would never have had peace. It would always be someone standing between them. Yay it's gone! SRY xD The only time where I Kikyo was sympathetic, that was when she was in Inuyasha's arms shortly before her death and she smiled.

well eventually inuyasha falling in looooovee with kagome and and hes getting sooo crazy and mad when the demons in the shikon jewel said shes not coming back. he screeeamed a lot and was sooo determined to find her and live forever and ever with kagome.JUST think about it.. inuyasha cried for kagomes "death" in episode 107 BEFORE he cried for kikyo! and i recommend to read the manga, there r a lot of missing "inuyashas Thoughts"
