You pick up on the worst thing about S3. IT HURT THE FIRST MOVIE, which was brilliant. S3 shoulda been one of those threequals that is a fluke and has nothing to do with anything that happened before...like Halloween 3, lol. I don't give a shit what anyone says, I still think Spiderman 3 is a good film despite what people say about it. I love all three movies but Spiderman 2 is my favourite. The series had come very far and now they are remaking it all over again. the movie was trying to convey the message/theme of forgiveness. I love this film. Critics said horrible things about this film but I don't care. They criticized Mad Max 3, Rambo 3, Alien 3, Jurassic Park 3, X-Men 3, Mission Impossible 3, Resident Evil 3 but I loved all these films. The same with Spider-Man 3. Yes, it was weaker than previous two films but the storyline was interesting. Peter has 3 strong rivals including his darker side. Visual effects & fight scenes were impressive. Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst & James Franco were awesome

This is how it was made (no joke!): Raimis first draft of Spidey 3 never had Venom. It was only Sandman and a little Harry. Then Producers forced him to put Venom in the movie (which was right). Raimi stupidly refused to replace Sandman with Venom, so 2 more writers edited the screenplay with one rule; Force Venom in the script. So the result is what we know as Spider-Man 3. A mix of what audiance wanted (Venom), what the prequels promised (Harry) and what Raimi wanted (Sandman, Gwen). Terrible!

@SuperCodyvideos I kind of agree with you. I agree that it closes up the trlogy really nicely. But overall it was bad movie. And I think 1 & 2 were a lot better than 3. Was it enjoyable to watch? Yes. Were some parts cringe worhy? yes. Was it written good? Yes. But was it a good movie in total? No.
You can buy no casualties in a Hulk rampage or in the police car chase after Batman in BATMAN BEGINS who was crashing into and tumbling police cars, but can't buy it with Sandman?
@SLPIFan Difference is, that if there were causualties in Incredible Hulk, its always because of Blonsky, or Ross. In first two action scenes, Banner tried not to change into Hulk, and in that fight in the end, Hulk tried not to hurt people, and protect them from Blonsky. I can see your point about Batman Begins, but to me personally, it seemed much more grounded and more controled than scenes with Sandman,
I was referring to the comics with the Hulk reference (that's why I never referred to THE INCREDIBLE HULK) but I do see your point about the movie, as well as what you said about BEGINS. I just feel this movie gets too picked apart. Yeah it was VERY flawed (Emo Peter, the dance number), but I don't think it's nearly as bad as usually made out to be.

@SLPIFan Thanks. But still, even in comics, Hulk is mostly trying not to hurt people, there have been references on that, theoretically Bruce Banner is more dangerous to people than Hulk. I am pretty sure that there have been some casualties, but: A) Banner didnt wanted to change in to Hulk, and Hulk is another entity. B)Its like when criminal kills someone when he is trying to escape before police (Hulk). Sandman was absolutely concious, and in the end, he was just trying to kill Spider-Man.
I'm more or less talking about the classic comics, but I know he's killed in other ones like ULTIMATE.
And yes he tried to kill Spider-Man at the end after Spider-Man deliberately attempted to and almost killed him. During every other scene he had no intention of hurting other people, including shooting Uncle Ben by accident. Even upon first meeting Spider-Man he said:

Apparently Tobey Maguire was asking too much money for the 4th one.. that movie would've been so awesome. They were going to go into Kurt Conner's role as the Lizard.
I'm not joking at all. I absolutely loved that scene. Him getting the job as full time photographer, dancing in the street, showing off with Gwen in front of Mary Jane. Internet sarcasm is hard to detect, but I'm 100% telling the truth here! :)

I think what I thought after coming out of the theaters sums up what SpIder-Man 3 was like as a film. I walked out and genuinely 100% thought it was a joke and that the real good film was going to be released some other time (no kidding) I actually thought Sam Raimi made this film crap on purpose as a joke, that was the only conclusion I could make out because the other two were so good compared to 3. I didn't want to admit that Raimi had completely dropped the ball.

Here is my question which I don't get, because I used to be an obsessive Spiderman fan, still kind of am. Spiderman naturally can lift (press) 10 tons, with the symbiote his strength increases to 20 tons (I think). Now, the Goblin Formula granted Norman and Harry the strength to lift (press) 9 tons. 20 tons of strength vs 9 tons of strength? Really? It's obvious Spiderman would have killed Harry on the first punch!
If Spider-Man would have stopped the robber, uncle ben would still be alive and Flint would have followed uncle ben's words. Put the gun down and go home.........

I agree with most of your points except at 4:59 with the whole moral message. The message is still there. remember what uncle ben told Flint when he was asking for his car "why dont you put down the gun and go home"? Flint had a look on his eyes as if he agreed with uncle ben. If he did have intentions to kill ben, he would have killed him on the spotinstead of just standing there. But when the robber whacked/grabbed the hand that was holding the gun, Flint accidentally pulled the trigger.
I think with the whole "women being repulsed by dark peter on the street" could be that different women are attracted different things. But that doesn't really matter anyway cause the movie sucks either way!
im not sure how they're gonna do Spiderman 4, harry is dead. Harry is the coolest character, and now he's gone. man the dark knight was SO much better than this.......

I think that the movie could have been great had they done the Ultimate origin of venom, where Eddie Brock is Peter's childhood friend and the symbiote is a suit created to cure cancer instead of an alien life form. It would have made a bit more sense.
I never said it was good, it jsut would have been better for the movie because it give at least some explinatiuon for the origin of the symbiote. In the movie it just fell from the sky and crawled onto Peters scooter.

There is one other thing you could dislike about Spider-Man 2 besides the running time. Mary Jane broke up with John Jameson on the most important day of his life. She humiliated him by leaving him at the altar. There was no shame or regret on her face when she became a run away bride there was nothing but joy there...It's like she enjoyed embarrassing John Jameson in front of his friends and family.

@SuperCodyvideos I kind of agree with you. I agree that it closes up the trlogy really nicely. But overall it was bad movie. And I think 1 & 2 were a lot better than 3. Was it enjoyable to watch? Yes. Were some parts cringe worhy? yes. Was it written good? Yes. But was it a good movie in total? No.

@SLPIFan Difference is, that if there were causualties in Incredible Hulk, its always because of Blonsky, or Ross. In first two action scenes, Banner tried not to change into Hulk, and in that fight in the end, Hulk tried not to hurt people, and protect them from Blonsky. I can see your point about Batman Begins, but to me personally, it seemed much more grounded and more controled than scenes with Sandman,

I was referring to the comics with the Hulk reference (that's why I never referred to THE INCREDIBLE HULK) but I do see your point about the movie, as well as what you said about BEGINS. I just feel this movie gets too picked apart. Yeah it was VERY flawed (Emo Peter, the dance number), but I don't think it's nearly as bad as usually made out to be.
(Now I can await hate mail from others either calling me not a true fan or saying that I've never read a comic book)

@SLPIFan Thanks. But still, even in comics, Hulk is mostly trying not to hurt people, there have been references on that, theoretically Bruce Banner is more dangerous to people than Hulk. I am pretty sure that there have been some casualties, but: A) Banner didnt wanted to change in to Hulk, and Hulk is another entity. B)Its like when criminal kills someone when he is trying to escape before police (Hulk). Sandman was absolutely concious, and in the end, he was just trying to kill Spider-Man.

I'm more or less talking about the classic comics, but I know he's killed in other ones like ULTIMATE.
And yes he tried to kill Spider-Man at the end after Spider-Man deliberately attempted to and almost killed him. During every other scene he had no intention of hurting other people, including shooting Uncle Ben by accident. Even upon first meeting Spider-Man he said:
"I don't want to hurt you. Leave now."

And still, he killed inocent people and Spider-Man let him go. BTW, there is difference between acident and involuntary manslaughter. Sandman had good intention, but HE wasnt good.

Eddie Brock was vaporized when he leapt in with the detached symbiote after a pumpkin bomb was thrown into it. Wasn't he?
Apparently Tobey Maguire was asking too much money for the 4th one.. that movie would've been so awesome. They were going to go into Kurt Conner's role as the Lizard.

I'm not joking at all. I absolutely loved that scene. Him getting the job as full time photographer, dancing in the street, showing off with Gwen in front of Mary Jane. Internet sarcasm is hard to detect, but I'm 100% telling the truth here! :)

Universe line is just for experimenting I'm sure. It's seperate from the original storyline, so real Spidy won't get hurt.
They wanted to get a better character to "represent" New York City. And explore diversity. That's what it said on article interviews.
I'm pretty sure he gets his powers the same way, although with more powers. He can shoot out of his hands actually.

I think what I thought after coming out of the theaters sums up what SpIder-Man 3 was like as a film. I walked out and genuinely 100% thought it was a joke and that the real good film was going to be released some other time (no kidding) I actually thought Sam Raimi made this film crap on purpose as a joke, that was the only conclusion I could make out because the other two were so good compared to 3. I didn't want to admit that Raimi had completely dropped the ball.

Here is my question which I don't get, because I used to be an obsessive Spiderman fan, still kind of am. Spiderman naturally can lift (press) 10 tons, with the symbiote his strength increases to 20 tons (I think). Now, the Goblin Formula granted Norman and Harry the strength to lift (press) 9 tons. 20 tons of strength vs 9 tons of strength? Really? It's obvious Spiderman would have killed Harry on the first punch!

I agree with most of your points except at 4:59 with the whole moral message. The message is still there. remember what uncle ben told Flint when he was asking for his car "why dont you put down the gun and go home"? Flint had a look on his eyes as if he agreed with uncle ben. If he did have intentions to kill ben, he would have killed him on the spotinstead of just standing there. But when the robber whacked/grabbed the hand that was holding the gun, Flint accidentally pulled the trigger.

I think that the movie could have been great had they done the Ultimate origin of venom, where Eddie Brock is Peter's childhood friend and the symbiote is a suit created to cure cancer instead of an alien life form. It would have made a bit more sense.

There is one other thing you could dislike about Spider-Man 2 besides the running time. Mary Jane broke up with John Jameson on the most important day of his life. She humiliated him by leaving him at the altar. There was no shame or regret on her face when she became a run away bride there was nothing but joy there...It's like she enjoyed embarrassing John Jameson in front of his friends and family.

uve prly herd this a million times but Rami didn't want venom, he was pressured to put him in. Erm little info rmi would have done at LEAST up to movie 5 if not more but sony said after 4 they are doing the reboot anyway so rami was like fukit. I'm personally looking forward to the reboot.
