It's amazing that proponents of illegal downloading now think they are ENTITLED to free music, simply because of the prevalence of illegal downloading in the last 10 years. It would be like Bernie Madoff arguing that he is now entitled to steal from his clients simply because he was able to do so without getting caught for all those years. No, the artists lose money. Copyright law is not a new concept. The only difference is that it's now easy for people to steal copyrighted property. If it suddenly became "easy" to steal books, food, prescription drugs, etc...would you do that too? You're like everyone else who does this, hiding behind the defense that the corporation is the only victim. if you're going to steal, at least have the balls to admit you're robbing the artist of money. Don't pretend it's anything different.

These networks do not house the files. They act like a Google and work like a search engine. Shutting them down is a bit like shutting down google because it gave you a link to a illegal site. Anyway, generally when these sites do get shutdown their community just moves to another existing to community or a new site is formed.
