  • i know thisis a mad question and probably no one will no but what colours is he using?

  • Where can I buy the zimmerit-roll?

  • ♫no one can stop the US air force.

  • WHAT IS THIS 4:24????????????????????/

  • @lodhol epoxy putty

  • @ModellMeister Can I use ordinary tamiya putty?

  • Japanese are NUTS!

  • please can someone translate PLEASE

  • Where can I find one of those zimmerit "wheel"?

  • at the 8:42 what's he using?

  • @pipasjm A color wash consisting of a brown and some black enamel paint mixed and thinned down to a "translucent consistency.....old school, totally obvious!!!

  • I just did this model! (Not as good as him though =P) Tamiya is the best, it hurts to go back to Revell models afterwards haha.

  • I wish these models where cheaper:(

  • Great video love it. :)

  • That's it. I'm going to spend the next 10 years learning Japanese just so I can understand this video. thats all the motivation I need.

  • i am killing to know what he is using at 4:27 and 5:12

  • @sultanpuppy26 Tamiya Epoxy putty

  • i see a lot of videos with japan modellers and its the best

  • Man, these Japanese modelers are so damn meticulous. But that's a good thing :)

  • Wish these were in English

  • has the series finished?

  • Awesome. That guy has serious skills. 5/5

  • What are the best tamiya collours for king tiger tank ???

  • i wish i could understand what there saying.... this guy has awesome skill

  • Seriously, this guy is good - people from different contries all model differently ie USA, Europe, Japan and it's noticeable. We all tend to concentrate on different aspects ie weathering, battle damage, accuracy......................

He did a great job with his Zimmerit, I want one of them round roller things that he's got!

  • @BHAMIG USA- Revell, Monogram. Europe- Italeri, Airfix. Japan-Tamiya, Hasegawa

  • I don't need the translate... I wish just the translate in english of the name of materials and products he used.

  • @blumax68 I can translate it into hebrew for you....

  • where could i get that little roller?

  • @148scalemodeling , he made it him self...

  • @148scalemodeling

You can buy them, they're made by trumpeter/tamiya I think, Zimmerit rollers.

  • can someone tell me how does he make this zimmerit? what is it in this tube? I can't read these letters :D

  • funny thing about japanese ive learned from these vids, if you listen closely all the important words are in english, the tube of blue stuff is "Ehpoksi Puddee"(Epoxy Putty, any hardware place should have it...wally world too)

  • lol yeah! hahaha

  • It comes in a a can called zimmiet.

  • please somebody make subtitles for this !! :D

  • i want those overalls!!

  • WE NEED SUBTITLES!!!!!!!

  • The music makes it epic. It's like in Japan modellbuilders are mighty heroes. All respect to these dudes.

    2:29 Mario vs. Tiger, Fight!

  • @Grayfox988 it's an american military song I heard. I remember lyrics containing something like "everyone doing his share..."

  • He paints with the tracks on?, and he paints right over top of cables, boxes etc. Those items would not have usually been painted to match the camo in real life. Plus air brushing camo with no paint masking make for unrealistic camo. In real life they rarely had huge spray guns to paint their camo in the field. Most of the time the camo was brushed on, leading to sharp edge camo. Anyway back to doing model my way. Nice vid none the less.

  • will someone pleeease translate these vids,subtitles... anything!

  • Oops, he apparently forgot to open up those vision slots on the turret again, after he applied the "Zimmerit" all over them and clogged them up. :-(

  • Some people do this for a job at the Tamiya factories, building and checking the quality of the model kits....What lucky people! :-)

  • someone could do a great service to the world by translating all these plamo videos

  • Great job on the Tiger Tank. Does anyone know where I can get those paint mixing cups he was useing?

  • Micheals craft store

  • Try your local Arts & Crafts store but the mixing cups aren´t really THAT important. Don´t take what you see too literally (even somethin as an old pringles lid works), what´s important is the end result and that you´re happy with your own work, so quite frankly it don´t matter what others use or think! :-)

  • Do they ever look at instructions!?

  • they've probably done the kit a dozen times before

  • Pretty good job on zimmerit it would look better if he made it look chipped a little inmho

  • I KILL FOR TRANSLATION becuse i LOVE these videos and want to understand what their saying

  • I already killed but they still tell me no.

  • I'd learn Japanese just for stuff like this

  • @terminator363 I agree

  • I wish we had a show like this in canada

  • it looks easy but in fact is not.

i have the same model. the building is not so difficult but the painting is so difficult if u only have a paintbrush

  • Its long and hard in reality. Jap pros make it look easy.

  • Doulos he glued them. It is almost the only tamiya tank with many pieces for the track. Tamiyas m4 sherman has rubber tracks i think...

  • For the tracks, did he glue them or something? I'm thinking of buying the 1/35 scale M4 Sherman. Pls Answer thanks.

  • old kit by today's standards but not a bad one.

  • what is this stuff that he's putting on the turret

  • I dnt know what that guy is talking about, but Chinese or Japanese language is really interesting

    lol

  • this guy is real good...

  • echt sehr geiles vid. nice :)

  • the zimmerit tool looks like a self made tool, the white piece looks like a gear from some RC car or something similar

  • Interesting tool for rolling zimmerit. I wonder if this is custom made or sold in hobby shops. Makes it look too easy.

  • This is Japanese TV program? Can anyone post all the series?

  • What is he doing with the brush and the q-tips at the end???

  • What is that thing he uses to roll the putty and make the little lines on it.

  • Wait nvm I know what its called. Its called a Zimmerit Roller.

  • God thanks guy u help me alot xD yay Lol

  • I just spent 2 weeks trying to track down a AFV CLUB AFVAC35003 Zimmerit applicator roller. His looks self made from an R/C gear.

Internation Hobby Supply has them. not cheap.

    This dude rocks

  • This guy is my fuckin hero!!

  • where can you purchase the rolling zimmerit applicator from?

  • you can make it out of 1mm plastic card or something to that effect:)

  • thanks for reply, ive tried this before and screwdrivers but can never get the technique right! :( tamiya putty also seems to be the better quality stuff but getting the damn zimmerit applicator is impossible task...we just dont seem to import these great tools! sigh!!!!

  • I'am gunna use an RC car transmision gear, I think that's what he's got there.

  • good idea mate!

  • u can also use a coke bottle cap

  • that really work?

  • he is using tamiya polyester putty and zimmerit applicator .

  • I´d be great if it had english subtitles.

    These videos are so cool.

  • what doe he juses for zimmerit?

  • u mean at 5:45?

  • yes, i am making a Tiger myzelf no, so i would like to have zimmerit on it

  • Im supposed to get a King Tiger similar to this but R/C for Christmas and I want it to look its best so yea knowing what he used for zimmerit would be helpful

  • When is this show broadcast in Japan. I know it's on Fuji Tv, but what day, and at what time?

Tremendously happy that this program is posted here.

I was wondering if TV champion, the model contests are posted on Youtube?

  • Philistine.

  • this 3 japanees modelers the best

  • Man, wonder how long he did he finish that model?

  • bastard tallented bastard when i built that tiger one i used a flat head screw driver to make each lil kine if id known one of them was availble it wud of saved me atleast an hour lol

  • Thanks for posting.

  • buenas sabes tengo ese mismo tanque pero el de usted e quedo mejor jaja sabes quisiera saber si me puedes dar algunas idemas para mi diorama bueno gracias saludos desd e venezuela

  • My favorite tank is the tiger 1 he's crazy

  • This video is SO Japanese, why was it him "Vs" the tank? Watch, near the beginnning, it makes it seem as if he is battling the tank kit. Excellent model though.

  • It's been many, many years since I built a model kit, but this was very interesting to watch. Some people say there is no skill on building from kits, but this is not true, the skill is in the creation of a believable miniature object, and that takes a good deal of effort if the model is to look good on completion.

  • Awesome!

He's a master. It looks so easy in that vid. (but is not).

it's a shame taht i can't undrestand a single word but deustche and Tiger...

  • Shit hes damm good
