They are separated for years now, but they were one of Holland's greatest bands ever.

They were not played/broadcasted in the UK because of the British broadcasting policy.

Only music from Britain and the US were alowed, the rest didn't excist.

Very personal song to me ,my wife was dying of cancer in Clatterbridge Hospital UK. in 1976, and Billy Butler the local DJ on Radio Mereseyside visited her at my request ,and dedeicated this song to her next day on his programme. Het is bijna 4 augustus en 9 jaar geleden dat hij overleed en ik schreef een reactie in opwelling van verdriet . Hij is niet begraven, maar gecremeerd, zijn as is uitgestrooid in Frankrijk, daar waar hij stierf.

Als "kind" van gescheiden ouders had ik hem nog zoveel willen vragen en te vertellen en dat was wederzijds. Eenvoud straalt zeker kracht uit, zeker in deze tijd, waar ik zeker op terug kijk naar alles dat ongecompliceerd leek, maar eigenlijk alles veel zwaar bleek te zijn.
