I love the idea behind Seraph (although I think Sera and Serph's interactions should have been better developed so the idea could have been even better displayed), but his/her design is horrible. Couldn't they have done something better?

They all had to die in order to ascend to Nirvana but the point of what Sera and Serph were doing was to insure that they made it to the sun in one piece, not being turned into raw data. So while they had to die, they also had to survive long enough to die last.

The only thing that could have made the last few scenes better was if they had a double voice over for Seraph. In the same way they did for Guillo from Baten Kaitos Origins. Without a change to Sera's voice, it felt like Seraph was just Sera with new clothes and a bad dye job.

This was the most emotional part of the game for me. This game is just so fucking awesome. It's just like "Alright, Fuck you, God. We're coming up there to fucking kick your ass! You better be ready!" Then Heat, Gale, Argilla, Cielo, Roland, Lupa, Jinana, Madame, Jenna and David are all there and God is all liek "...Fuck."

Yes. That's why it's a good idea to have Sera learn completely different mantras from Serph.

I like everything about it aside from Seraph. Should've kept Serph and Sera separate until the end.

@Cidolfus86 Seeing as how in this game Hindu mythology is the most prominent, the idea of Seraph actually fits a lot. His/Her demon form, Ardha, is the fusion of Shiva and Parvati which represents the perfect balance between male and female energy.... it sounds awkward yeah but hey, at least is original. If that god was concieved because they saw hermaphrodite people, it would make you think how the enviroment of a culture influences their religion.
