Long Weekend.... Spending Irish taxpayers money on St. Paddys government juntas to the middle East lickin Despots Holes, F*%£ em, they could have stayd at home drummin up business/debts. Cleary put them in their hole.....give him a set of golf clubs to club them over the head. Eirigh aris!!!
The Blades & the Radiators(From Space) were the two classic bands to come from Dublin in70's. The Boomtown Rats were okay for a while but were really just a want to be rock band. As for the gob shits(U2) least said soonest mended(this must be hell if we have to put up with them)
She sents me postcards every now and then. Memories come flooding back all of them good. This was the sountrack of my mis-spent youth. Just how did the dreaded U2 break it big. The Blades left us heart broken
Any chance of hearing the B-side to that? i remember it was just as good as the A. (Real Emotion?) i would play that single both sides on a friday evening after school gettin' all Modded-up for the weekend. Thanks The Blades for all those great songs and memories. (ps, any chance of a photo reel to accompony this song)
What? No Aslan "new release album", full of covers, unable to write a song, (sorry one - "how can I protect.........") . Could not give a sh1te if they came from the northside of the moonside! Class band who could write their own songs!
just heard this on 'after midnight with mickey bradley', great song!
