What do we do? That is a good question and a hard one to answer.

Do they label food as non-GMO in the UK? How do you know it's not GMO? They don't advise on labels in North America so it's impossible to know if your eating GMO food. One assumes they are.

@hplaserjet2001 All GM Ingrediants must by law be labled as such in the UK. However no lableing is required if GM is used as part of a manufacturing process, but there is no GM material in the food. For example GM rennet is used in most non organic cheese. Also GM crops are being fed to animals, and this is not labled either, as it is indirect exposure to GM. Hope this information helps ! Lets keep up the campaign. !

I was arguing with a kid about that statistic of 1 in 3 die of cancer today versus 1 in 33 in the fifties. He said the Cancer mortality rate has declined from the 50s. I think he's right about that. Cancer mortality rate has declined. People knew less about it then because when they got it, it caught them by surprised. I believe the correct stat is 1 in 3 people GET cancer today versus in the 50s 1 in 33.

I was told about this company recently. Its disgusting what these guys are doing. I hope they don't have much of a presence in Ireland. The whole thing just sickens me. I have 3 beautiful daughters, and the thought of what the future holds for them completely disgusts me. The thing that I find interesting from all the articles and footage that I have come across, is that not a single ex-employee of Monsanto is anywhere to be found. Not a single person that works there has ever decided what they are doing is wrong, and wants to speak out about it?! Or are they just floating in Snow Creek as soon as they quit?

Good question. You can control how and where you spend your money. Shop at locally owned businesses and not at big corp stores like walmart, sears, starbucks, etc.

Educate yourself about GMO food and tell your family/friends. Tell everyone. We must stop Monsanto from owning all food and livestock. They are patenting the breeding of pigs first, then cows, chickens, etc.

Don't get discourage, that's what they count on.
