this is the flight that i regularly take (SQ322). I was in 27th Airbus 380 flight from Singapore to London. In January-February 2012, I will be taking four A380 flights, one to/from london, the other to/from tokyo
@HeathrowSpottingHD Ah ive been looking to buy this :) Do you have to be close to the airport to listen? If so.. do you happen to know the proximity??
@britishairwayspilot1 I could listen from my House I lived in the UK which was 15 Minutes away. Not sure depends on the aerial. I don't know what Scanner I have as I got it when I was 10.
@HeathrowSpottingHD Bad video he said??? He is either blind or a jealous hating mfucker. Keep it up bro, I 've seen hundreds of planespotting vids and I loved it!
Korean Air is the next airline to fly the Airbus a 380 to London Heathrow and they are planing to send the a 380 to Heathrow before the olympic ganes.
Beautiful. Hopefully Seattle will become a big enough airport to house one of these beasts so I can see it in real life one day. And wow, the elevators were bouncing up and down from either the wind or the runway. Never seen that before.
@airbusandmustang Thanks, yes i noticed that. But not the runway as others wernt like that. Heathrows runway has to be maintained bigtime! It was probs the wind.
LOL, sorry to be the one to have to burst your bubble Bubba, but SeaTac will never see one of these (aside from an emergency landing of some sort or another). Many bigger and much more important airports (pick one) aren't getting ramped up for it and there's simply no need for it here at Seattle.
@konakaine It's been seven months since I wrote that comment and all I can say is I know the A380 won't be coming to KSEA anytime soon. I've seen the 787 and 747-8 multiple times (the first time I saw the 747-8, it landed right in front of me when I was doing my pre-flight checks last time I flew a C152 out of KBFI--too bad though because since it's so quiet, I didn't even know it was on approach until it touched down), which it plenty for me to see right now. :)
@fludusTV To be a plane spotter, you got to know all the information you can get, like which runways are in use, you can always google them. FYI, the controller also said the plane was cleared to land at " 27R" this gives the knowledge that 27R is currently, and will be used by the A380.
@teddy96 yes, I know, that the controller said, that he was cleared to land on 27R :D. but if the plane has landing clearance, it is to late, to change the spotting poisition from 27L to 27R for example.. My question was referring to, how you can get the information on which runway the plane land, before it has the landing clearance. So, that you can change your spottingposition.
@fludusTV Ermmm.. at heathrow they only use both runways from 5-7am, if the A380 or some aircraft was on approach to the other runway to me nothing i can do.. it would take 5-10 minutes in a car to change pos and atleast 45 minutes by walking. I have a ATC Scanner so i can hear what runway they are lined up for e.g. "Virgin 2 Fully on the ILS For 27L" but this Singapore A388 was going to line up for 27L other runway but it was a little bit to late with a few crossing going on.

@britishairwayspilot1 I'm not sure, would depend on the strength of the Radio it's self. Clapham is pretty far so maybe not.
