  • Just found this great pdf search engine: file-pdf . c0m

  • the latest version of this is a word document with a "supposed" PDF attachment however it's not even a PDF, just looks like one, when double clicked it's an EXE. :( Foxit won't help there.

  • Foxit people. Get with the program.

  • adobe rules!

  • want lees spam use gmail

  • chris get avast.

  • Hes on MAC

  • i was searching around for a huge n64 collection on mininova and a pdf file popped up and gave me a trojan but with my fast mouse skills i deleted it

    fucking internet.

  • fast mouse skills??

Lol if your infected your infected unless yu remove the trojan file

  • there were some pdf exploits like some time ago

    not alot

    but

    there were some

  • Dude my computer is acting really really weird I am scared! It freaking went nuts and restarted and windows had to do a system restore.. I think it may have come from PDF files I downloaded from sites I found on google... I usally download from trusted forums but I was being greedy...

  • I use a free low feature PDF viewer called SumatraPDF, which I don't think would be able to execute any code if it is even possible to have a virus in a real .PDF file.

There are always the people that don't disable hiding the extension for known file types, so it might say "Cool.PDF" but really be "Cool.PDF.exe" with a PDF icon. While hiding it is convenient, it is a stupid security risk not work taking. While your at it, make sure a .VBS file opens with notepad.exe instead of running it.

  • sumatrapdf

does not have enough people using it

    so

not enough coders looking for secuity holes

    and its too low featured

  • the first mac osx virus was a pdf, or so im told.

  • damn now there are PDF viruses god damn it

  • I got a couple of those.

  • I have no problems with PDF spam. Not in Hotmail, not in Gmail, not in Lycos, so I wonder why some people get spammed to death and some people get nothing at all.

Like your monitors by the way? Are those Dell's?

  • I get these now, too. I did some quick Google'ing to see if PDF viruses were becoming popular (or possible) and did find one or two PDF exploits but nothing that appeared to be current or common. I was interested in seeing what was in there so I decided to open it with the latest version of Foxit Reader, a free (tiny) alternative to Adobe Acrobat Reader - I generally trust Foxit Reader more because of their focus on a small, simple PDF reader. Yup, just another stock plug.

  • Yup, I been getting them too.
