Fedex Ground has to travel longer distances to reach hubs, FedEx Express only travels within metro areas because its freight travels by air. Therfore Ground is trying to meet his 7pm cutoff time at the hub he's going to.
It is possible that the driver of the FedEx ground is running behind on schedule because he took a nap at a rest stop or took too much time for his meal at the diner and has to compensate for the time lost. But, the ground truck was really speeding!
