  • How much fun your life is.

  • I work for Fedex Smartpost and we pack Fedex ground trailers. Express is quicker, but also doesn't ship as many packages as Ground.

  • Fuck the both. It's all about dhl

  • Fed Ex Ground screwed up our package. Their people do not know how to do their job.

  • @MOODYANGELS1 Most of the times they pile the conveyor belt so full packages get jammed, and your rushed like crazy.

  • I'm pretty sure he posted it due to the irony... musta went over your head.

  • sure the regualr fed ex truck may be driving faster but when the mail gets to the post office, the express packages dont sit in an unsorted pile ofr a couple of days.

  • Maybe the Express truck just obeys speed limits.

  • O no!! the secret is out!! Nobody is safe now. Hide your kids, hide your wives, and hide your husbands because FedEx is out to get you.

  • People I think your taking this a tad too seriously, they are just being funny relax.

  • This is silly. #thatisall

  • Looks like a local truck vs an OTR load to me.

  • fedex express uses planes you silly bastards so whiel that ground is driving that express is going to an airport

  • How fast one truck is driving has no baring on how fast the package gets there moron.

  • Comment removed

  • wait till they throw your package...lol

  • FedEx Express = Federal Express Express... wat

  • @aednichols thats y is just Fdx.

  • GROUND!!!!!!!! gotta <3 the purple promise!!!!

  • how often is this stuff caught on tape

  • XDDDDDDDD....!!!!!!!

  • ... the fed ex express truck is probably going to an airport... their packages are probably getting to wherever they need to go much faster than the ground would in their "fast" trucks. soooo either way express lives up to their name.

  • Express is paid by the hour...think about it.

  • you above people are morons - that ground truck is only going faster because it's a LONG HAUL TRUCK - that express truck just picked up your AIR PLANED packages to a station to be sorted and delivered - all bets say that the packages on that ground truck aren't even for the STATE it's driving in.

  • maybe they have different destinations?

  • That's why I work for Fedex Ground!!!!!!! KKKKKK

  • fedex grownd and express are the same

  • the express truck like that are just heavy weight pick up drivers or transporting cans from their station to the AIRPORT to be ship out!

  • You guys would make perfect sports reporters :D

  • Is it just me hearing the irony in their voices?

  • I work for FedEx Express. Our trucks are govern to save fuel (company), but FedEx Ground trucks are contractors or owner operators, so their trucks are probably much fast then ours, but our service is much more faster, because once the freight is pickup it goes to the airport to be flown to it's destination, while Ground is trucked to theirs.

  • @hsmarlon true say, I'm at ground, but regardless, we get our shit done :p

  • @irishboy664

    That's true.

  • @hsmarlon I guess the uploader is unaware that there are these neat inventions called airplanes.

  • @floydfreak63

    Now you talking.

  • @hsmarlon When my package is sent to me from FedEx is there anything I haveto sign?

  • @NuclearFistPump

No, unless the sender request for a signature confirmation. This is to insure that you have received your package at the address its being sent to. I hope that answers your question.

  • i'm in HD, the sub-division of ground & i'm amazed at how quickly ground stuff gets from one state to the next; some customers were amazed too & I look down on the label to see stuff coming from CA to NJ in a few days time...

  • so you're going to use an extreme stereotype "I'm only going to use ground over express" simply because this one time you saw ground being slightly faster?

if you want to decide on that, you should ask multiple people how long it took them to receive from ground/express, it would be a more accurate stereotype

  • Well.............. once the Express gets in the air, see who is faster

  • The express will stop in the next airport and ship by air. Ground will cross country in 2 days. LOL.

  • are you in a fed ex van to

  • You gotta get that 100% cube in those ground trailers or it gets comboed or mixed to the next closest destination unless its a satellite...

  • it doesn't mean it should go faster. it means that fedex express packages have the higher priority and will proceed through the scanning faster than the regular once.

  • lol, funny

  • @Toby FedEx express litterally flys your package and ground well stays on the ground duh! Lol and ground delivers day definite as in they deliver when the driver is in your area not when he thinks your home.... Express has an commitment window which is best if you need your pkg ASAP!!! ;)

  • whats the difference grond-express someon plz tell me!

  • due to the fact that ground has smaller trailers on and express is probably loaded heavier due to the fact EVERYONE ships express and you were going up hill has nothing to do with it huh?

  • ground ftw lol

  • Maybe that ground was behind sched. so that express truck was winning more. Also remember tourtesie and the hare? The hare can just make up for lost time in the end. ;p

  • "Not express at all!" cracked me up...

  • Hate to burst your bubble..but I work for Fed Ex Express and drive a semi just like the one in the video..he already delivered to the station and his truck is probably empty and on his way back to the ramp...but I have to say this is pretty funny...I pass a UPS semi every morning on my run...that is unless I am much earlier. LOL! have an awesome day.

  • fedex express is a company truck owned by a fedex, fedex ground truck is owned by a contractor who works for fedex, fedex ground is not real fedex. thats why they have different colors, and yes like "www2903" said; ground pays per miles. express pay per hour

  • @michalsiekisthebest pays per per package count not per miles. it can explain why we usually try to load in as many smalls as possible. All contractors are independent drivers who have short-long terms contracts. color doesn't mean anything. but there are some differences in kinds of fedex trailers... i don't wanna go into details tho....

  • @ExtraTerrestrials Ground pays per mile... I work for FedEx Ground. The reason they want you to fit in "as many smalls as possible" is because it costs roughly ~$800 every time they send out a truck. If you don't fit all of the needed packages in a truck, another truck must be sent, even if it's only for 50 packages. That's a huge waste of money.

  • @StainedShuriken333 not sure where u got that but that's how we do it in west coast

  • @ExtraTerrestrials East coast (Ohio) over here.

  • that happend because ground pays per miles. express pay per hour

  • you're retarded. express has difference processing and whatnots so just because the ground truck is faster doesn't mean anything

  • why doesnt this video have 1000000 views?

  • Win

  • lol

  • THEY BOTH SUCK!!!!!

  • express is international and ground is national anyway... no comparison can be done!

  • is this 287 in henrietta

  • good one.

  • yea, fex ex ground i heard has his truck tuned..

  • FedEx Ground drivers are Independent Contractors who are paid by the load. FedEx Express drivers are paid by the hour, so they are in no hurry.

  • fedex express is typically made up of local drivers traveling within one metro area after it's already been flown in - they're company trucks that are governed to conserve fuel while fedex ground employs a large group of independent contractors and owner operators whose trucks are not governed or are governed at a higher speed due to the longer distances travelled

  • well of course Express is slower! FedEx ground is in the passing lane, and the Express is using the middle lane! For example, a Corolla in the passing lane will most likely beat the Ferrari in the slow lane.

  • LMAO "we're gonna start using ground only" priceless. I work for FedEx Express and I can tell you that ground will always lose against express. Once ground gets to the next terminal it just gets loaded/transferred onto another truck and continues traveling on the ground. When express reaches the AIRPORT, it is loaded onto an AIRPLANE and is delivered the next day while ground has only driven halfway (if you're lucky) to it's destination. If you want speed, it's express all the way!!!

  • @justsimpsons I think they meant it partially as a joke because the Ground truck was physically in front.

  • Fedex Ground has to travel longer distances to reach hubs, FedEx Express only travels within metro areas because its freight travels by air. Therfore Ground is trying to meet his 7pm cutoff time at the hub he's going to.

  • It is possible that the driver of the FedEx ground is running behind on schedule because he took a nap at a rest stop or took too much time for his meal at the diner and has to compensate for the time lost. But, the ground truck was really speeding!

  • but still the fact remains that ground goes faster than express no matter what the reason is.

  • :)

i can rebut your argument with a counterargument - the Express truck was going slower because he was full as opposed to the Ground -who was half full :)

So Express is in more demand - thus rules! The Customer is always right :D
