  • that's freakin' awesome..

  • no impact or much less impact? this is to everyone : Make an impact by making less of one on our earth. pass it on. also if we don't teach enjoyment of our earth- why will people want to save it ? the alternative is waiting till it gets so bad that people finally see the need to save themselves - but most/ some wont give things up or do things better till then .

  • I admire anyone who can do this. I know i couldn't. I would want to, but i just no i couldn't...

  • I can't wait to see the film. Since I don't live in NYC, I'll have to see if it'll be playing in my town.

  • Even if this is about self-promotion (which I don't believe to be the case) the idea is intriguing. I'm going to participate in the No Impact Experiment starting 10/18/09, and see what it has to teach me.

  • @SmallWorldFilms im curious.....what have you learned?

  • @Sinonez The first lesson that comes to mind is that it's very hard to change behavior. My kids were not on board with it, which led to resistance to the changes. I already do a lot of the things they suggested though. I did learn to appreciate local seasonal vegetables.

  • Interesting idea, but I could totally see this guy becoming another self-promoting wannabe celebrity like Morgan Spurlock was with "Supersize Me." People will burn gasoline to drive to the theater (emitting pollutants along the way) and sit in an air-conditioned theater, eating and drinking snacks, all while learning about conservation. LOL.
