Romney received about 3.7 times more votes than Ron Paul and probably spent 20 times more money than RP. Romney had probably 100 busses transporting his supporters and Ron Paul had none. This moderate Democrat drove 2 hours in my personel vehicle to vote for Ron Paul. Keep in mind, Romney spent alot of cash. We all need to contribute some cash to RP's campaign so that he could potentially have more money on-hand than Romney.

While I'm a Republican from Iowa, I wasn't planning on going to the straw poll because my fav candidate wasn't participating.... but after seeing the video I can honestly say my opinion has changed, and I may be voting for Mitt Romney. We need to have a good, moderate voice in the White House. Even Barry Goldwater would be a moderate today compared to this group (and I was a big Barry Goldwater supporter).

The fact is, most of these people are involved in organizing supporters to get to the Straw Poll in Ames. That's smarter on Romney's part than paying a small group of people $100,000 plus salaries. It's hard to get unpaid volunteers in Iowa any more due to caucus fatigue.
