This is not a cougar, just a domestic cat. Tail should be longer and thicker, back lags should be longer, face should have the characteristics of a cougar (black around the nose). Cougars are also more muscular and this 'goldish' color doesn't remind me of a cougar. The way this cat moves is also typical for a (small) domestic cat with short legs. Last but not least: this cat is not big at all, look at the grass.. No doubt this is NOT a cougar.. keep on filming though!
I am not naming names here or anything, but... I see several cases of SEVERE spelling and grammar problems... It does not help when you are trying to prove a point or argue something when you cannot spell to save you're life.
@peterddakmagic There is nothing about that house cat that is even remotely close to a cougar. When a camera zooms in, it causes the depth of field to drastically decrease, which distorts the size of objects in reference to their background. That cat clearly has a gait of no more than a foot. On top of that, the cat is not even taller than the surrounding grass... The easiest way to tell it's not a cougar is to just look at it's face. No resemblance whatsoever.
@peterddakmagic The reason it looks so big is because your camera is zoomed in so far. The way you can tell it is a house cat is because of it's profile which is stocky and fat with short legs. It has no neck (cougars have long necks) it moves like a house cat and it is orange. What you have here is Heathcliff... Look in your related videos and click on the video titled "An Interesting Visitor" and you'll see what a cougar really looks like.
