Parts of the original Quran must have been lost, after many of the reciters of the Quran died or were killed in battle. Uthman, the third Caliph (successor of Mohammed) gathered what was left of the Quran, arranged it by length of Surahs rather than chronologically, then burned all other existing copies.

Many of the early manuscripts of the bible match the text we have today. The most famous manuscripts are The Siniatic, The alexandrian, The Vatican, Codex Ephraemi, Dead Sea Scrolls, and the thousands of other copies/part of copies of the early Bibles prove that the Bible could not possibly be corrupted.

It comes down to Muslims having to force themselves to say that the Bible, especially the New Testament, has been corrupted, so any contrary verse is thrown out and others are stripped from their context to support the Quran. 24,000 New Testament manuscripts speaking consistently to the deity of Christ and somehow it is corrupted... @bluepeoplerule Your comments make no sense. If the book you are reading tells you that the scriptures that were sent before told you about God, why would you not read it? Why would the book even tell you that unless it meant you should read it? Beyond that, wouldn't you even be curious about these "scriptures" your book keeps telling you about? I know I would be.

Common sense also dictates this-the fact that families of scribes have been rewriting the bible and it still matches to this day should be an example. Parts of the original Quran must have been lost, after many of the reciters of the Quran died or were killed in battle. Uthman, the third Caliph (successor of Mohammed) gathered what was left of the Quran, arranged it by length of Surahs rather than chronologically, then burned all other existing copies.

@bluepeoplerule The bible on the other hand has stood the test of time. Jews or christians would not dare alter the words of the bible knowing the punishment that awaited them(Rev 22:18 & 19). Many of the early manuscripts of the bible match the text we have today. The most famous manuscripts are The Siniatic, The alexandrian, The Vatican, Codex Ephraemi, Dead Sea Scrolls, and the thousands of other copies/part of copies of the early Bibles prove that the Bible could not possibly be corrupted.
