I remember the film quit clearly and loved it- can some dear film buff tell me the exact name of this wondefrful film and date of release? it is such a joy too see it again, even in parts. thank you so much, gs mom
I remember being in stoned debates about what it all was supposed to mean. The album with Nilsson narrating was better than the cartoon. All of the songs sort of flowed into one another.
I love this song. I only saw this show once, first broadcast, when I was nine, but it made a great impression on me. I am in the midst of a Harry Nilsson discovery. He died young, in his 54th year, just like Robert Palmer and John Ritter.
when i was little my sisters and i didn't know there was any other kind of music besides the point because every time we went on a trip or even just to the grocery store our dad would just pop in the point tape! I'm so glad this is on here it really takes me back!
Years ago my mum had this record and comming across it now it seems so silly because I can sing along with it all! PS wonderfull to hear it again, thankyou.
Has anyone here ever watched a moonbeam?

I miss Harry Nilsson's narrating
mercurirgo 4 years ago 2
that was Ringo narrating
shawnfern 3 years ago 2
the original pre- Ringo version has someone else narrating.
mercurirgo 3 years ago
The LP is narrated by Nilsson.
Dustin Hoffman, was on the first film version, but for contractual reasons later airings of the film could not use Hoffman's voice.
