I have the ESP LTD H-351FR, has the 81/85 EMG's which I think are beautiful, the 85 in the neck is nice for cleans and solos, but the floyd rose 'special' is quite a mechanism.
@sweeps91 I specifically bought this guitar so that it would have a fixed bridge haha! I needed a guitar with active EMG's that had a fixed bridge so that I could change the guitar's tuning whenever I wanted. However, my favorite guitar is an ibanez JS1000 (I play it in my On Impulse cover) and it has an edge pro Floyd Rose design floating bridge and it is pretty damn sweet.
I tried this guitar at a local guitar shop and all I can say is.. wow.. I'm definately buying it! the most comfortable guitar I've ever played. Seriously.
@mitchell797979 I am by no means at all an incredible sweeper, but after buying this guitar i decided to tackle the song. It was incredibly easy with this guitar. The action is insanely low, and zero fret buzz and im using 10 gauge strings haha, im getting 12 gauge on there soon (I recommend for you) So yeah, great guitar. Thank you for the comment! Hi man nice playing! A question.. I'm buying this guitar in two or three days and I have never heard an opinion of someone that has played this guitar, so tell me. Is the neck comfortable and fast? What abot the sound? The EMG's must sound exc. And is it heavy? Thanks man please response.
@EagleEyeAEG Hey! Thank you for the kind words! You cannot go wrong with this guitar, it is an absolute beast. The neck is fast and extremely comfortable, you can reach the 24th fret with ease. The sound is also very thick even though the guitar is light, surprisingly light actually. Another thing about the guitar is that it is absolutely beautiful, something I'm very picky about :) I hope you get the guitar! It's amazing, I promise you
