Rob Bell is wrong and I'm not even a real christian. I'm just trying to find out what this is all about. Your video on Piper is wrong. He was not refuting Bell but Bell's wrong theology. That was a nice attack on Piper and I don't agree with Piper
Bob Bell is arguing that my Jesus is nicer than your Jesus and nicest Jesus wins.
As an atheist I am glad to hear a protestant say that Luther, Calvin, Augustine, and the Apostle Paul are all wet and now we have the truth, that is until the next book comes out.
The problem here is that nothing needs to appeal to reason. So Bell's Jesus is a nice guy and not a fundie. But who knows who the next Jesus will be now that Jesus has broken his moorings to both faith and reason.
